So that's the excuse you are giving Jerry? The salary cap? Is that you Stephen? Amazing how other franchises have had success during these "cap years". All this time I thought it was Jerry and it was the cap all along. Go JERRY!
He’s just a Homer trolling . I’ve put him on ignore now. Lol

This isn't about other franchisees. You pointed out Jerry with Jimmy as opposed to Jerry without Jimmy, stay on topic. Talent acquisition was about who could pay the most without restrictions as compared to the salary cap. If you can't tell the difference then I don't know what to tell you.

I am on topic. Just because it crushes your narrative don't say its off topic. Why wouldn't we compare Jerry's success to other franchises during the cap years??? That's how you would measure what he has done. We only have the last 26 years or so to go by comparing Jerry to not having Jimmy. So your excuse for Jerry not having success without Jimmy is the salary cap. Well if Jerry can't handle the salary cap and build a team that can win and hire the right coach then he should step aside and let someone else do the job.

You act like Jimmy was perfect, you blast one yet you let the other slide because you like him, typical
I give Booger all the credit for going against the grain and hiring a college HC and turning the football team building and running over to him while he tried to turn his investment into the black.

He hired a guy with a lot of experience recruiting and coaching against players they would need to turn the team around. I do think Johnson left the money side of it alone, that was Booger's territory, until the Emmitt holdout put them in a hole. Booger thought Emmitt was just a player, a player that wanted too much money, but the football guys, Johnson and Turner, had built their offense around him, he was the catalyst.

It was a brilliant hire of a HC, the last he would make. He hired Parcells to get the Big Top and was even pleased when Parcells failed to deliver a ring, really never came close. Remember the comments he made, while drunk, in that recording about Parcells? In his warped and hopeless craving for attention and credit, he thought Parcells not succeeding made him look better. Well, if the great and wonderful Oz can't do it?

I think it is amusing you guys keep trying to defend a man that openly admitted he should have fired himself. Even he didn't think he was doing a good job. But that was not going to stop him from trying to do it. Problem is he's part timer at it and only does the things he wants to do. But, he owns it and has the right to do with as he pleases.

Booger is not doing anything to us that we do not allow to happen. Show me the logic with being any kind of fan. We're all nuts!

You're not on topic, you asked a question about Jerry and Jimmy and then wanted to jumped to other franchises.

You can't be that delusional to think Jimmy did it all by himself....lol

Never said he did it all by himself. My point is he was the driving force and the one voice in the locker room that players feared. Tell me one coach that came after Jimmy that the players feared? Jimmy was making most of the decisions as they relate to football. It was his show to run.

There really is no point with you. Again how do you measure Jerry's success over the last 26 years? How do you measure it without looking at other franchises around the league? Tell me, how well has Jerry done since Jimmy has been gone?

i love that the cut off is always right after we won a SB. So what is it if we go back a couple more years?
Those were Jimmy’s teams / remnants, 25 or so years ago, it became Jerry’s team, hence the demarcation.

Part timer? He's not doing it all by himself either, it's been said a million times its a collaborative effort by the front office and coaches and scouts .
Not far from how some other owners do it in the dark but without putting their neck on line.

Yoi think that was the only thing that led to winning those championships? The organization as a whole was a winning organization and it went far beyond the field.

Then move on I refuse to scratch your itch on something that don't have any bearing on what we were discussing, how did Jimmy do when he left Dallas?

You mean before the internet and cell phones when Jerry was in his mid-50s and Peyton Manning was still at Tennessee,?

You were doing ok until you started with the insults on the last line. Now you lost any credibility.
I am not saying fans should not be disappointed, you are the one missing the point. Look at your own post as to ever making a legit football post.
That is one of the most dumbest things coming from you. I did not attack anyone, I was just making a comment about how fans would be from the past when Landry started, as well in the 80's when it went downhill.
He made a good point. I too thought the shot at the end was a bit gratuitous.

Are you a fan? Yes? Then your disagreement must be with Jerry and his FO being "professional football people". Like it or not, they are.
Impersonating professional football people
There, fixed
