Then tomorrow, they reveal the full Field of 64.

Any guess who will be the 16 Host sites?

Should be a fun Regional...especially starting Saturday. One of the very best college baseball atmospheres in the country.....very SEC-like.

Btw
A lot of last-minute at-large bids stolen this year with conference tourney upsets.
Michigan and Louisiana stole a couple. A few others too.

Teams like NC State, ODU, etc, ended up getting left out.

Even UTSA, which was ranked in the top 25 most of the season, got left out.

Looking around the country, I suspect a lot of regional hosts get upset. The field gets pretty level after Tennessee.

Campbell (who is very good this year) is all over Ga Tech early. 5-0

I have a feeling GT saved their ace for Tennessee....oops.
Campbell trotted out high end MLB pitcher Harington, so GT already in real trouble.

UVA and CCU is a nice matchup! Two recent National Champs! Though all those players are long gone.

But I think you might get rain.
Rest of weekend looks good weather-wise.

Poor Miami That Region is in shamble due to the 100% rain for cast for the weekend.

Now head to head tonight!

They switched the game to the ACC Network.
Google top college baseball atmospheres and venues and you will normally find Clark-LeClair (ECU) always in the top 10.....expect an electric atmosphere.

ECU trying to extend the nation's leading win streak to 20.
But UVa probably has the overall more talented team.

I think I read it's been since 1999 when the last #1 seed won it all. I'm a SEC guy, but I was happy to see Tennessee get bounced, even if it was Notre Dame.
