Well, that means a good chunk of this board is in the top .005% cause we knew he was full of bunk very early on and could out coach him on any given day.

In all seriousness, associating him with the top of football knowledge is a crime against football knowledge. Self marketing, brown nosing, avoiding blame, yes. Football, no.
Nah that's completely ridiculous. Put JG in a room to watch film with 99% of posters here, and the posters would just be in awe of the detail JG would point out. Dismissing a former NFL head coach with a winning record as not knowing football is kind of like the out of shape 40 year old guy on his couch making fun of the last place sprinter in the olympics.

Even the worst of coaches at this level spend all day every day breaking down the game, while schmucks like us are sitting on this board discussing and advocating outdated concepts from a decade ago.

He’s a perfect NBC guy…..Tirico, Collinsworth, Dungy, Chris simms, Garrett…..

Dungy and Collinsworth actually know what they're talking about, though. It'll rain on a dog's butt every now and again with Chris Simms, too. He should use video when he talks though.

But . . . "How's it going, guys?"

No thanks.

Garrett is an upstanding individual. I'll never forget the Thanksgiving game when he played Nov. 24, 1994, when Garrett filled in for injured Aikman & ailing backup Peete to rally our two time Super Bowl champion Cowboys to a 42-31 victory over Favre, White & Packers.

If anyone was clapping that day, it was Cowboys Nation.

I just wish that the Eagles or Washington would recognize his "potential" and hire him as an OC or HC and stick with him for several years. That way we can truly enjoy his coaching as Cowboys fans.
Nice. I was hoping the Giants gave him a little more time, but I'm pretty sure two years was enough to ruin the QB.
