Nah that's completely ridiculous. Put JG in a room to watch film with 99% of posters here, and the posters would just be in awe of the detail JG would point out. Dismissing a former NFL head coach with a winning record as not knowing football is kind of like the out of shape 40 year old guy on his couch making fun of the last place sprinter in the olympics.Well, that means a good chunk of this board is in the top .005% cause we knew he was full of bunk very early on and could out coach him on any given day.
In all seriousness, associating him with the top of football knowledge is a crime against football knowledge. Self marketing, brown nosing, avoiding blame, yes. Football, no.
JG just feels like a perfect college coach. At almost 60 years old though I imagine he would much rather have a cushy TV job than the brutal schedule that comes with college coaching and recruiting.good for him.
i do wonder if the princeton job ever came open if he'd give college a try.
but tv is a good gig.
He’s a perfect NBC guy…..Tirico, Collinsworth, Dungy, Chris simms, Garrett…..
Agreed. Had to cut that last part out though lol. I don't wish bad or good on him. He can do what he do
Like petting a cat backwards.Garrett's voice rubs me the wrong way....but whatever.
That was my question:"Top candidate to replace NBC's Drew Brees".
Not so sure I'm gonna like this. Does he get to clap?

They are going to superglue his hands together during broadcasts no clapping allowed it is in his contractThat was my question:
Will he be clapping ?
I have no issues with it. As long as he not coming back to Dallas as a coach its all good and I wish him the best.
Nice. I was hoping the Giants gave him a little more time, but I'm pretty sure two years was enough to ruin the QB.I just wish that the Eagles or Washington would recognize his "potential" and hire him as an OC or HC and stick with him for several years. That way we can truly enjoy his coaching as Cowboys fans.
