How long will Kellen be here ? As OC and later as HC

After that I figure Jerry and his boy aka the jones boys, make him HC, probably for a 10 year period.
Again no matter results, 10 years !

I dont think payton would come here, and if he did would he take Kellen as OC?? LOL I dont think so,
payton likes to run his own offense and call plays.

Would Dan Quinn take the HC job? would he take Kellen as OC? Both are possible, but I doubt
dan would want to be saddled with a independent OC as mike agreed to.
It just isnt a good setup.

personally I think the shine is off Moore. Im not throwing rocks at him he had the #1 offensive for sometime and all OC’s make boned headed calls but he no longer walks the sidelines as heir apparent ,in my view

I mean he gets a "pass" because the Cowboys offense was ranked 1 in the NFL. They were also ranked 2 in the NFL in 2019 and before Dak went down were rank 1 in 2020. That gets you more than a pass and in fact gets you a raise.

I half agree with you.... 12-5 and first place in the division definitely shows we don't suck. If there was a trophy for being first in your division, I would fully agree with you. But this is where I disagree with you, 12-5 and first place in your division is the same as being last place because neither are going to give you a Lombardi trophy. We can't even get past the first game of the playoffs.

I'm not asking us to win the Superbowl. I would however like to see us get to the Superbowl..

I think the best thing Kellen could do for himself is to get as far from the Cowboys as possible.

If he remains the Cowboys OC he will be blamed for a 4th round QBs lack of talent the same way Linehan was before him and the same way the next guy will be after him.

If he becomes the HC then then he will have to deal with Jerry and Stephen meddling in everything.

It's a lose/lose for any Cowboys coach.

Although KM grew up in a football family, he has spent the bulk of his professional career - both as a player and as a coach - with the Dallas Cowboys. My point is this - to a large extent, his cultural "role models" are the dysfunctional Jones FO. I would be mildly surprised if he becomes anything more than Garrett 2 point 0.
