The 24th doesn't matter or if there are another 3 or 4 do not matter to them. Once they committed in money and picks to him, they were all in and they are on this ride with no escape. They took one of the biggest risks in NFL history and they have to see this through,

Since Watson and Cooper are the new kids and need to bond, I hope Cooper has other things to do when Watson says "hey, Amari, let's go get a massage".

Lol, was there a clause in the contract that stated “Upon the 24th reported case of misconduct, the Browns organization may choose to relieve itself from the terms of the contract.”

no he will get 1yr plus time served for his team sitting him all last year..i doubt a first offense gets 2 full years..he will get a full yr instead of possibly yr. 6 games ..

A 1st offense?

There's 24 cases against him.

Bro none had enough evidence and were dropped, innocent until proven guilty. You don't fund it suspicious that this last chick decided to say something NOW

Reportedly, Watson offered each of the women $100,000 to drop claims against him. They refused.

It's pretty hard to dismiss the claims of 22 women. Furthermore, anticipating a particular response, the burden of proof in a criminal case (beyond a reasonable doubt) is different than a civil case (preponderance of the evidence).

I assume it was more if more cases happen we can void, which he quickly signed because he knew that after giving what they gave that clause meant nothing

I'm pretty sure this one even blindsided his lawyers.

So, there might be an out for the Browns if Watson withheld information regarding possible other potential future lawsuits. If his lawyers didn't know about this one then you know the Browns didn't.

That's what makes this 24th one different from the other 23.

I cannot believe the Browns thought completely destroying their relationship with the only decent QB they’ve had in years in Mayfield, then trading 3 first round picks for a sexual predator, was a good idea.
I don't know why we think just because these teams are owned by billionaires they don't make stupid mistakes. They make them all the time.

They felt paying Watson 46M a year for 5 years made more sense than paying Mayfield whatever he would want, most likely at least 30, for 4 years. And they might nave tested the water with Mayfield's agent and discovered he wanted closer to 35-40M a year. If they can both play, Mayfield can't carry Watson's jock.

After all, these QB's are not basing their demands on what they have accomplished as much as the going rate for a trigger man. Seeing that with WR's as well.

The NFL has concluded their investigation into Browns QB Deshaun Watson. NFL insiders believe the suspension could be as long as 1 year. Watson is facing civil suits for alleged sexual misconduct by 23 different women. The arbitrator made decision should be made public soon.

You think all 24 people are lying?

I don't find it suspicious at all because the nature of what is being accused can have people come out and call them liars, gold diggers, and what not.

These types of attitudes is why it's hard for people to open up about these things.

Where there is smoke there is fire.
No don't dare try that, of your gonna do ot then do it. The timing is suspicious and if you can't see that then YOU are one who will vilify a person Because of a claim with NO proof. I know guys and women who have been accused of stuff like this and in the end some of the victims were trying to come up. So my man THOSE are the ones who make it hard for victims to come out. So don't you dare

So if you were the women you'd take 100000 over the truth and knowing it should be much more and at the end of the day shoupdny be about the money but seeing it through to see this man locked up if true?

Don't think that matters NFL will likely suspend him and fine him how much in terms of time or money anyone guess. Some NFL insiders are projecting a year. With this Goodell anyone guess is as good as mine.

All true but they have to have known this already
Now I don’t think the league should suspend him or any other player until they are charged with a crime or found guilty of a civil suit
I believe in due process but obviously the league doesn’t since they have suspended lots of players never found guilty of anything including Zeke
Since when is there a finding of guilt in a lawsuit, barrister?
