A fan who doesn't understand that globally, the World Cup generates far more interest than the Super Bowl. Sounds about right.
Why should we care about the World Cup being in Dallas?

I'd prefer the owner/GM of my favorite football to focus more on building a contender and less on bringing big events to his area. If he wants to focus on those types of things then he should hire someone competent to run the football side of things.

He didn't say "no".

Globally?
Soccer is IT.
USA?
Football is it and it's a testament of the power of the US and it's fanhood to even make it a question.

But you go anywhere else on the planet and it's like...
Football what? Is it with all those overweight dudes acting like Sumo wrestlers while a guy throws a ball?

Cricket is a real thing globally.
I don't understand a single rule.
Shame on me.
It looks like baseball with weird bats and completely insane scoring rules.
And a single game can last for over a week.

As a non-American who spent many years living in the United States, I grew to love both sports passionately. They are both amazing.

Jerry, the businessman, answered the question correctly, both economically and politacly. He did a great job being indirect but allowing the interviewer to deduce the obvious... More money is always better and a bigger market equals more money.
