1WR role isn’t CD’s yet. I believe Pollard will challenge him for that title

CD Lamb doesn’t just get to assume the #1 WR role. Tony Pollard is in contract year and he is stepping up to take Amari’s role. He played WR in college, has more fluid route running, can break more tackles than CD and is far more explosive.

Pollard is going to have a Kamra / McCaffrey / Deebo / Bell like season while still allowing Zeke to be the #1RB.

He's not challenging the #1 or #2.

He may catch some passes, but he's not sniffing a thousand yards.

Me thinks someone doesn't know the game very well.

Bro, you're posting videos of our running back from back in college when he played receiver on some plays in college. People understand he's versatile. But he's not going to be any sort of real WR. He'll be in there sometimes, perhaps in the slot, maybe the line him wide a time or two. But he's no freakin' CeeDee Lamb. Not even close.

He played WR in college

He was not a wr who became a RB in the nfl. He went to college as one and they made him into a RB. Like Felix Jones, he was never a full time starter at any position. He was part of a RB by committee approach. Pollard is NOT a WR……they will let him try some plays from the slot, and he will likely shift there from a two back set.

His entire college career produced very low production at RB (941 yards) and at WR (1292 yards), 9 TDs from each position. That’s his entire college career! We have been fortunate to get what we’ve gotten from him.

His claim to fame in college was as a kickoff returner.
