This is NOT a Micah bashing thread (someone will bash me for this either way). We saw what Micah did this past season. There's so much hype going on, it feels good to feel good about a player. With that said, I think we need to pump the brakes just a little!

Offensive coordinators are paid loads of money to scheme against players. It's it fair to expect him to have the great season like he did last season, when NOT much was known about him? Personally I speak for everyone when I say I hope he tops his rookie numbers.

I just think we need to slow it down, let's see what the season brings ONE GAME at a time! Truth be told, we've been burned by players in their second season. I didn't want to say that, but it's just what happens in big D. Micah seems different, but the brakes have to be put on a little once again! Please give your thoughts

Parsons ceiling has yet to be established, the talent added around him and excellent coaching from Quinn will elevate Parsons further.
If you can't see this already than there is nothing anyone can explain to you that will enlighten you at this point.

I’ll take Quinn’s scheming and Micah’s speed over most OC in the nfl
Hard to scheme against a guy if you don’t know where he’s gonna be lined up
Some fans see arrogance from Micah
I see confidence and determination

Whatever happens is gonna happen, regardless of how people talk or what they expect. Is it better to expect a drop off and feel down, or is it better to expect equal or better play from him, and possibly be disappointed?

I'm just gonna hope he's great, with no expectations......Okay, maybe some expectations.

Whatever happened to letting fans be excited. What's with all of the pump the brakes, put away the anointing oil. Fandom is an individual thing, we don't all have to feel the same way about a player or the team's chances. I choose to be excited about Micah Parsons but I respect the fact that you want to pump the brakes, only drive as fast as you feel comfortable :)

Would like to add that as mobile as we saw Parsons in his rookie season, just imagine being able to put him anywhere.
As crazy as that sounds, Parsons wants to be that player, this defense is being built around Parsons specifically.
Q got his golden egg, and pieces are falling in place quickly now.
We have seen this scenario before, a very long time ago granted, but we have seen this and recognized the transition.

If I get 1st year production out of any draft pick I am elated.
We got HOF style production from Parson in his rookie campaign and we have peeps being critical.
I dont care what Parsons says, talk all you want walker.

What talent was added around him lol

Defense is pretty much the same with the exception of losing Gregory and adding DE Williams in the 2nd round.

I will say that the continuity with this defense may actually help Micah and the defense as a whole more though.

Open your eyes and you will start to see.
I get that its early, and peeps still drying their tears over Gregory departure, but nabbing Sam in this draft will start to provide some clarity.
Q is building a juggernaut defense right under you nose and you cant smell it.
Peeps can laugh all they want, but Ive seen this exact same scenario take place before.
