We shouldn't mistake confidence for being a loud mouth. I don't have a problem with anything Parsons has said. He had a great rookie year and is getting a lot of media attention. Just because it seems like he's everywhere doesn't make him a loud mouth. The media knows who everyone is interested in hearing from.

No he doesn't, he's confident and nothing he says shows arrogance, what he did as a rookie was as a raw pass rusher after sitting out a year. He's only going to get better. I want him to keep speaking with confidence while also putting pressure on the guys around him to follow his lead.

I know you're a coach.
You have ingrained perspectives and have seen a lot of kids come and go.

Tell me you have never seen a guy that uses his mouth and it helps his own game through self-motivation.
Tell me you don't think this kid could be a guy who can successfully bring his wants about and use his talk to push himself.

Won't be easy to gameplan him, because he can produce from multiple places on the defense, and do it well. When they start paying too much attention to him, someone else is going to get off. That's why you don't pigeon hole him as a rusher only.

I went to the high school he went to, yes he had a great year, just don't want him to not be humble, NFL can break you of that quickly

Parsons ceiling has yet to be established, the talent added around him and excellent coaching from Quinn will elevate Parsons further.

Whatever happened to letting fans be excited. What's with all of the pump the brakes, put away the anointing oil. Fandom is an individual thing, we don't all have to feel the same way about a player or the team's chances.
