I'm going to side with the circle of hate and say Bill Laufenberg. Because I know they'll take anybody that ain't Dak.
:lmao:

But seriously, Michael Irvin. Just to have two number one's. Lamb and Irvin.

Man this is a hard question, but a good one!

My finalists would be Bob Lilly, Charles Haley, Deion, Larry Allen, Roger Staubach. But I could list another 10 guys including Tony Dorsett, Bob Hayes, Randy White, Demarcus Ware, and on and on.

But if I had to pick 1 it would probably be Staubach, just for his leadership and competitiveness.

If you answer anything other than Staubach, you probably never saw him play. I still doubt he could overcome the Jones family ownership though.
Then why not the QB that lead the Jones owned Cowboys to 3 Super Bowl wins instead then? lol

Who you choosing?

I think with our current team I'm taking Deion and letting him take the other teams best WR out of the game while Diggs ball hawks around with the QB throwing to the leftovers.
Where we are now Larry Allen. When Tyron gets injured Tyler steps in. Then the most important positional group rocks NFL world.

Larry Allen might be my favorite Cowboys ever, but I just don't see him having the same impact on this team as the 90s teams he was on because of how this team is constructed.

We don't have Emmitt running the ball or a coach that wants to be run dominant. I feel like they would just waste him somehow or another, so I picked Deion because we need the defense to be as great as humanely possible with our offense.

I have to think the easy answer is Staubach…or aikman at the games most important position…
After that, honestly would say Deion….because he did so many things at an elite level…returns, db, and could even run routes on offense

Well, I'm going unconventional because it sucks to say the same thing as everyone else.

Gimme safety Roy Williams. Man, if that guy could have kept himself at his rookie weight, he would have turned out Godly.
