Troy aikman was a very good player but Roger Staubach could do more with less talent around him.

Every defense feared Roger because of his ability to inspire his team to play way above their heads at all times.
He had an iconic mystique similar to Tom Brady where players just believed and would walk through the fire for him.
You can't really explain it to people that didn't watch Roger play in the moment.

Anyone that chooses other than Roger is a football idiot.

The way QBs are protected today he could play until he was 50.

He was a dangerous runner; the only really better running QB I ever saw was Vick. He was extremely accurate; and had the arm to put it all the way (Hail Mary anyone?)

and most of all his team mates believed in him the way Montana's believed in him- the only other QB I ever saw that was as dangerous when the game was on the line.

Deion, who is not even one of my top 10 favorite players, but the guy took half the field away..that still translates to today's game. He'd make that D elite..plus his punt returns
