It was really that simple but a Dumbo GM could not do it. Do you see what these WRs are signing for and you could have Cooper, and Lamb stay together for 2-3 more years. Cooper was not a cap problem. He was an enigma problem...So was RANDY MOSS who never failed an NFL drug test or was suspended but Jerry Dumbo GM Jones passed.
$20 million/year obviously does carry cap implications. That's not to say they couldn't have made it work if they were committed to it, but you can't just pass it off as something the team doesn't have to consider or work around. Every team has to make those calls.

As for Moss, that has nothing do with Cooper. Besides, I'm certainly not claiming the Cowboys make all the right moves. Jerry is a terrible GM, but that doesn't mean there aren't complexities with working through the salary cap and building a team. Jerry may not be good at doing that, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Starter reps in practice. I forgot to include "in practice". Not a lie. McCarthy and Stephen said that.

They said nothing more then looking for competition to push Biadasz. I know you had a party thinking he meant he was going to compete for the starter.

What some of these cry babies dont know is that the Cowboys had an out this season. If not, the other 3 years at 22 million were gauranteed. So they got out. This was a 3 years money decision as well as a commitment to Lamb and the fact that Cooper didnt live up to his salary or lead the team properly and all his ailments.

Oh so cuz AC says something eh? LOL

More desperation and a troll agenda. No facts, just lies.
Half the forum said it, Albert. AC reiterated it in this thread in the post I was responding too.

He didn't suck against Philly in 2019? He wasn't given a pass for that by many here because of the shoulder injury? Pretty sure those are factual comments.

2020 speaks for itself.

He didn't suffer a calf injury in 2021 and his "slump" wasn't blamed on that injury? Pretty sure those are facts.

He didn't play very average in the PO game and his calf injury wasn't blamed for that? Again, pretty sure those are facts.

FYI. Once you start talking about "agendas" you come across like a junior high drama queen. And here I thought you were an aging drunk. My bad.

Fuller will be gone shortly.

Oh no doubt, they will definitely wait too long if Washington is out. Or they'll decide they are find with Lamb and a bunch of rookies and has beens.

It'll start to look like when they thought WR was in good shape with Allen Hurns and the Misfits, only to have to blow a first round pick for Cooper.
