I'm not the goof acting like he's some pro scout because he watched one bad game. LOL

That right there tells me your opinion is garbage. Ive seen Brown make tough catches and he is standing out this year in TC. Not saying the guy can ball, I'm also not saying he sucks.

I will leave that to clowns like you.
You're drunk or 12 years old.

this guy is a practice warrior and thats why he keeps making the team ,every time i see him in a actual game he fails to impress.

They have no faith in him to be a starter. He’s a very average receiver who excels on special-teams which is why he stays around.
I don’t think at this point in a guys career he becomes any more than he is
He’s a guy who can catch the ball if he gets open and he’s a good ST player
If you put enough guys around him drawing attention so he can get open he can catch it
But he’s not beating many guys to get himself open
You can scheme lots of guys open who aren’t being covered by a D’s best players
The early part of the season is gonna require the oline to play very well and Moore to get creative

This appears to be the best training camp of his career.

The media guy that does some of the camp video reports with the dc.com crew said he had not seen a drop from Brown during camp.
His in or dig route on 1 on 1s you can hear the vibration in one of the videos - not the official dc video with his foot making contact with the dirt, remarkable he looks very good excited to see if he plays next week

I'm starting to think the FO/staff has some faith in Noah Brown to be a starter. He's been here six years but he's still only 26 and has shown some ability as a receiver and blocker. He's trimmed down and looks good in camp.

You never know... He might be just as good as Will Fuller, and more reliable. I hope so. Brown has been one of my pet cats every year.
I think he's ready to step up and be a serious contributor to this offense. He just needs to be given the opportunity.

One game is a chance eh? Thats laughable. He will probably get a big shot right here. I will go by what I see rather then listen to some guy tell me that all our young guys cant play because nobody knows about them.
Um....he has played in FIFTY games thus far!!!!!

For sure, he can definitely be a “hold the fort down” kinda guy for a few weeks.

My only concern would be if Tolbert struggles and Noah is solid but not anything more. Would have to be extremely creative with how we move the ball as we’d be relying on Shultz and the RB’s. Ceedee would be getting doubled heavily in this scenario.

But I do think Tolbert will step in and be a reliable player ala Vance Jefferson.

Yep.
Noah Brown is the definition of Vets knowing how to tie down a role.
There has to be some serious comp between the likes of Houston, Vasher, Tolbert, because I don't see any of them getting Browns work in.
And Im the Vasher stasher, but Brown is showing the newbies what is up so far.

Hey, if he ends up finding a way to making a bigger contract as an NFL receiver in his 4th year I won't hold it against him. Those are the kinds of stories I root for. Even I've been sort of down on him. But if he proved me wrong, which I admit is possible, I'd be very happy about it.

That's right this isn;t about practice routes. It's about giving a guy a REAL shot. You can;t just bop in real quick and expect to get in the flow of the game.

The Raiders games sticks in my craw pretty hard. HAd a chance to get him involved...to really compete and contribute. We threw him in the dirt in OT.

I say we haven't given him and honest fair shot at it. But...it would seem NOW is the time, if ever. We could try to cheer him on if we dare. Maybe it's not the cool thing to do?

I like him in the redzone, especially.

Last year Brown quietly became a WR who could block well instead of a teeny tiny blocking TE. If there weren't so many guys in front of him, he could have produced last year.

This year, with his blocking he should be a staple of 1st and 2nd down for play action potential, and with his experience and competence, and our lack of depth early, he'll probably be hanging around on 3rd down til Gallup is back. The only thing limiting his snaps on offense are all the snaps he'll be taking on special teams.

I'm not so high on Tolbert starting in place of Gallup early. Brown really might be our best option for our 2nd WR, but I expect him to play from the slot rather than wide.

He's been on the roster longer than Cooper and Wilson. Why didn't he show anything during that time?
He's been in camp and has had the opportunity to impress coaches. Apparently, he hasn't.
But, hey, there might be a late diamond in the ruff. Shrug.
Because Cooper and Wilson were better receivers than him. He was a 6th or 7th round draft pick. He shouldn’t have even made the team to begin with. Mind you he was raw. Im not saying he’s a star…..I just think he can contribute. Not sure how much but he seems to be having a great camp…..

No he usually drops it in games or deflects into the oppositions hands.

If i throw a cards game to the ground pick the cards up again they could be in the right order. Probability is low, very low. But there is a chance.

Noah Brown is ready to be a Swiss Army knife but nothing special at any one position…like WR. he is what he is…if we are relying on him for meaningful WR reps then we are in trouble
