Tampa Bay Buccaneers Receive a Scare During Training Camp
Did the Buccaneers' take another hit at the center position?

It appeared as though things had gone from bad to worse for the Buccaneers -- at least in terms of the center position.

The team's 2021 third-round draft pick out of Notre Dame, Robert Hainsey, was recently thrust into the starting role after the team's Pro-Bowl center, Ryan Jensen, sustained a serious knee injury early in training camp.

Buccaneers Avoid Scare But Lose Receiver at Practice

The injury bug struck the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp again on Wednesday, August 10, with two starters going down.

Wide receiver Russell Gage sustained a leg injury amid running a route, and he walked off the practice field with help as shown on video by MrBucsNation. Bucs head coach Todd Bowles had no further update on Gage’s status after practice.

No one likes to see a team suffer player injuries, but if this keeps up for the Buccaneers, it bodes well for the Cowboys when they host those same Buccaneers during Week 1 to start the 2022 regular season.

Does that make you happy? Are you not confident in the Cowboys to get it done when other teams are at their best?

I'm not surprised to see you smitten at the thought of an easier road.

I think Jensen was the only real injury so far. But that was a big one.

The others are just short-term training camp stuff.

Let me guess...

Mountaineer is already thumping his chest and saying, "I want the Buccaneers and everyone else at their best!"

:muttley::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::thumbdown:
Do you really think people didn't see me comment that?

Also, even if you had me on ignore the second @thunderpimp91 replied to me you saw my post even if you do have me on ignore. If you have someone on ignore and someone you don't have on ignore replies to them, you see the posts

The only reason you made this post was because you already saw my post. Why else would you randomly bring me up acting like you're going to predict what I said?

This is embarrassing even for you, AC.

I want to beat teams at their full strength as well.... because there's a built in excuse to discredit our coaching staff and players ESPECIALLY certain key players on our team if we beat the Bucs without their starting center.

But if we lose, then certain uneducated, low IQ people here will blame the loss on one or two specific players on our team, even if it wasn't their fault. With that said, we're damned if we win, we're damned if we lose. I'd rather take the win and ignore the hater's excuses and lies as to WHY we won.

Gage is down but for how long. I seen that yesterday when it happened. I expect him to be back.
Goodwin has not been cleared to practice yet, and game 1 status still unclear, though that is his target to return.
Gronk is still retired.
Julio is not what he used to be, but he could still be a factor now.
Brady a year older, we keep waiting for the arm to fall off, but will it, he defy's age.
And of course the C is out.

They are actually better than we are at this point as to players being ready to play. With the exception at C, but then again that depends on Biadasz.
Gallup won't play, Washington we don't know yet, but doubtful.
Is Cox back yet?
OL needs to show us something, and hopefully looks good Saturday.

i rather win with a team a full strength but nobody cares after the game is over. no one cared when we had our QB out for most of the season or when we had more than half our OL in and out most of the year and had to play rookies. next man up, play the game, it still counts all the same.
