From what I could tell from watching the video (which focused on our offense vs. their defense), the Broncos didn't get much pressure on the first team and the primary players they beat on the first team were Ball (we only played Tyron for a series or two) and McGovern, although Biadasz had a few issues. We didn't run the ball well, though, as far as initial contact with the running backs, but some of the tackle attempts where the play was blown dead were arm tackles that the backs might have broke. They didn't show every play, though, so that's just based on the ones they did.
Zeke has no speed. That play is destined for failure

and you can see clearly that even play designed to go outside with zeke he cuts up the middle. It’s not Moore, it’s zeke.

Jump on a 3 hour flight and fly out of 75 degree weather into 95 degree weather. Have a practice in the thin air in Denver. It was just practice. Practice. I wouldn't take a lot from it.

I do hope the media stays on them about their toughness. They need a chip on their shoulder.

Perception and turning around that perception is key for this team. I don’t care if it was our full starting squad or if it’s chipping after the play is over; this team needs to start imposing their will and improve their physicality.

The Broncos have manhandled this team for some time now and Dallas reverts to a subordinate role every time they play. Even if it’s a controlled practice, this team needs to change that culture of finesse to a culture of brute strength because, “it ain’t workin”

Lol….oh so zeke couldn’t bounce outside and dove inside? Shocker there!!

He wasn't trying to bounce outside. It was a pitch play to that side, but the defense was filling the lanes. Instead of continuing to try to take it outside, Elliott apparently thought he saw an opportunity to cut it upfield. The danger of doing that, of course, is the backside pursuit, and when that pursuit is someone like Chubb, you're probably going to lose. He should have just continued it to the edge and taken what the defense was given. It's not like Pollard was going to do much better on that play because the holes just weren't there.

You go out of your way to criticize Elliott any chance that you get, don't you?

Half our starting oline didn’t play genius. Educate yourself.
By end of the year every team has injuries....life in NFL
Coach em up...
Scheme to get the ball out.....throw ar a tight window early....
Throw a receiver open...anticipate. Don't wait for Schultz to be open on a 3yd out

As you're watching this train wreck of an O-line unfold this season, just remember our GM CUT the 27 year-old, former pro-bowl starting RT. Not traded, not lost via FA (and resulting comp pick). CUT.

MM is holding his team back, waiting for the real plays to happen. Nothing to be concerned about.

Right now we are expected to get a 4th, 5th, 6th round comp picks.
So yes, possibly lost a comp pick. Probably a 6th or 7th. Depending what his contract is. If less than 2.25 million per yer, probably would not count.

What could have they got it a trade though, about the same?

They destroyed us last year in a real game too. I don't think it is a fluke. We have a soft team. Also, the backup Oline is going to get Dak killed if they have to play at all this year. I would say there is a high probability given recent injury woes of Tyron. Biadasz looks like garbage. Josh Ball sucks unbelievably bad and McGovern isn't much better. I'd be shocked if they don't sign a guy or two on the OL. Philbin has to go and should've been fired after last season. Rumor has it he didn't want Tyler Smith and refuses to put him in with the starters. Fire him now!!

I don't know why, but I feel like the writer of that article might not be unbiased.

True, but neither are the people here reading it.

I do, however, remember the Broncos pushing Dallas around in a real game not long ago. Has anything significantly changed since then?

You can tell everyone is aware of how soft the Cowboys are. All we’ve been hearing the entire offseason is how opponents were able to out physical us. Now it’s starting up again.

This has been my fear the whole offseason. Adding Smith on the oline will help but the rest of our oline including Tyron and Martin aren’t roadgraders. They’re technically excellent blockers but they’re not going to drive 330lb DTs into the DBs. McGovern maybe the softest blocker we have had at guard in Cowboys history. And we did absolutely nothing to beef up the DT position. Expecting Ridgeway to come in and be a bully is crazy.

oline will kill this team again.Biadaz is a huge liability and he is not even a good backup. If he is starting Center we are in dire straits.

Biadasz was blocking the NT.

our TE missed missed the backside C gap.

It was mentioned that Elliott should have kept going around the end instead of trying to cut that back. Biadasz needed to cut his guy off, but Chubb had backside contain, so Elliott being hit by him is on Elliott.

Biadasz has his hands full with the A gap NT.

TE has to block better.
