What is the WORST thing that could happen if Booger fired Corky tomorrow??? There is NO WAY I see this many penalties under Quinn....Corky continues to TOTALLY look disengaged from whats going during the game....he is a joke!!!
What on earth makes you think you wouldn’t see these type of penalties under Quinn? Do you see the stupid penalties his unit got last year and this preseason game?

You are quite perhaps the perfect Dallas Cowboys fan for our model.

Enraged. Yet engaged. You think the head coach matters.

That is good for business.

Serious question........what do you think Quinn would do that MM hasn't tried?

Or a better question......you the coach, how would stop the penalties? No, I'm not making excuses for MM coz it's obvious something isn't right but what is it? How do you fix it?

There's nothing, he can preach it all he wants, unless he's cutting every guy that committed a penalty.

Exactly my point........lots of fans/media have issues with them but I have yet to see/read how any would do something different.

That INT Nashon Wright was beautiful . Of course the penalty flag was flying . I liked the ball hawking aspect of it . Same series Johnson went deep down the sideline opposite side and KJ had his man stride for stride blanketed no chance for a completion . Al Harris is the best DB coach Dallas has had in yrs. Kris Richard was a bust .

And what do you know DiNucci finds Fehoko in a crowded end zone for the only TD . Maybe Fehoko can move up the charts as 3rd receiver become a Dak friendly target . All in all it’s preseason one no time to start rearranging parking spots in the coaches parking lot at the Star .

Well, I sure hope so.

Only if MM takes Philbin with him.

Then hell yeah.

I 100% realize that its not going to....but it should. And, it might finally send shockwaves to the team.
The only shockwaves would come from Jerry leaving. These millennial players barely notice their coaches. They only care about who has the money.

I will say we would absolutely be no worse under Quinn than with walk-a-bout Mike. I have no idea if we would improve.

Quinn is the Campo of today.
Good coordinator, lousy HC.

No good coaches want to work for Jerry. It will be this way until he dies. Just think of your job industry and think of the place with the worst reputation to work for and that is the cowboys in the NFL.

Pretty much. I wonder. Is Jerry setting up Mike for failure to promote Moore? Basically to say "I tried the experienced coach way, back to young coaches."

All anyone needs to do is look into the eyes and facial expressions of Mike McCarthy to see that he knows he's in trouble. For anyone in his position to see that his troops aren't responding to his attempts to cut down on his players' mistakes, it's quite obvious that he's feeling stressed and likely, freaking desperate. He knows Jerry is watching his every move and perhaps thinking in terms of sending him packing, in favor of hiring another HC.

I definitely wouldn't want to be in Mike McCarthy's shoes -- especially after Jerry openly made comments, in the past, to the effect of McCarthy being somewhat of a temporary fixture as his HC. The fact that he even mentioned Sean Payton and Dan Quinn as his possible replacements, likely didn't help MM's level of confidence, in terms of his sense of belonging. I can hardly imagine the temerity of any owner treating his HC in such a cold manner. o_O

Yea bc new coaches that come in mid season don’t have any more success than the previous guy. Not.
