No idea who he is. But Dallas must know that neither Ball or the rookie are ready for prime time.....Tyler may not be either at LT but here we are. They are probably looking for someone who is 15% better short term than either Ball or the rookie in case he is needed to play.

Again, don't get your hopes high on any of these moves. I think the best bet would be to invest in a left guard. I think they may be easier to find than a backup left tackle.

I’m all for depth. Waletzko could break down at any time, and Philbin is a solid OL coach. Obviously this dude won’t make or break the season, but he’s a step up from their current depth (or lack thereof).

Hard to believe when he has stunk this preseason...

Plus, he's short (6'3") for an O-Tackle.
This is exactly the type of player that Dallas goes after in these situations. It would be hard finding a quality OT to trade for because they are not plentiful, but it would surprise me if they put much effort into finding one capable of filling in. They are probably going to get a back-up OT and start one of the players that is already on the roster. This is about as good as Dallas is going to get.

Backup swing tackle type.

“It is somewhat of a miracle that Edoga is still on the Jets roster. Edoga was selected by GM Joe Douglas’s predecessor, Mike Maccagnan, in the third round of the 2019 draft. He’s had three years to prove himself but has not done anything to inspire confidence in his potential.”

2021 - 100 snaps played, 2 penalties, 1 sack allowed. 57.7 grade. Had 6 penalties in 2019 in a little over 400 snaps

In that case I’m not giving up anything beyond Micah straight up
It’s off if they ask for more
