Yes, such a big problem at WR, meanwhile lets ignore the elephant in the room with our O-line.
Yep, to throw to WR Dak needs a lot of time , which he wont have if there is no line blocking.

I am not willing to sit back and watch Noah Brown average 3 catches for 17 yards in his first 5 games, before he is finally replaced. BTW....thinking its ok to go 10-7 because that will win your division is flawed logic...that gets you ONE home playoff game and then an early exit if you are lucky enough to advance. You acquire as much talent as humanly possible, and worry about 2025 in 2025.
Good thing is you don;t HAVE to! He has better stats than you think.

If Lamb and Gallup stay healthy that's a good 1-2 punch. After that there are a lot of question marks. This group certainly dropped from last years group. Another unit on this team that is weaker than last year. Jerrah and company with yet another amazing job building this roster.

Lamb, Gallop, Shultz, Tolbert are great pass catchers.

When you have a great pass catching TE, you have less of a need for receivers. Not sure why some of you people cant understand this simple concept.

All this clip did was reaffirm EVERYTHING I was already thinking....what in the hell did we do by cutting Cedric Wilson and then thinking we didn't need to sign ANYONE of note??? Again.....we are BOTTOM 5 at this position....we could actually be the worst. That is TBD.

They gave away a cheap Pro Bowl WR for a 5th round pick in Amari Cooper so keep a very good 3rd WR in Cedric Wilson was out of the question. That's the way the Arlington Jonesboys roll.

Cooper was an overpaid WR that did NOT make the pro bowl last year. In fact he didnt even have 1000 yards. Cedric Wilson had one decent year as a #4 WR. Also now grossly overpaid.

For the price of Cooper we were able to retain Gallup and Shultz. Thats called a home run.

They also used that 5th round pick on a good young TE in Ferguson.

Gallup, Shultz, Ferguson or Cooper? :muttley:

Not to mention we have Lamb more than ready to be a REAL #1 WR. Much better than Cooper.

You're counting Tolbert as great already? Wow, ok I guess he isn't a question mark all good here. Who else is great that hasn't played a snap yet I would love the early intel?

Wk 1 we going to be playing ALOT of 12-man personnel.... Dak's comfort zone and dueling up on blocking (hope they've been practicing) and helping the O-line block on both run (and pass) plays.

Im not that worried about the WR, they are what they are, the real issue is whether Kellen can draw up a game plan to play to strengths and cover weaknesses.

Why are you scared? We have a franchise QB, right? He can take lesser WR's and make them look like stars.

I'm way more worried about the Oline. Gallup doesn't seem to be nearly as far off from returning as I had feared. Lamb is underappreciated around here. You have a young guy with upside in Tolbert, plus some role/gadget players down the depth chart.

This time last year everyone thought that Cedric Wilson was just a scrub that brought no value as well. Lets see what this unit has.
100%. If we have no passing game, it will be because our o-line ends up as bad as it looks like it might.

what the heck do you mean cheap? 20mil a year for a wr that takes off plays is anything but cheap.

Nope. Its the combination that is great. Try to keep up.

Tolbert will be the 4th or 5th receiving option. Not worried about it. But if you want to cry, be my guest.

Cooper was the #3 pass catcher on the Cowboys. Thats why he is no longer here.

If they dont sign Peters it really wont matter the game plan. They will have problems executing it.

This was your quote- Lamb, Gallop, Shultz, Tolbert are great pass catchers.

It's all good lol we don't need to agree. I just think there are some question marks and you believe they are all good. Hopefully you are right.

actually, another inaccurate narrative. hes one of the top qbs under pressure ie the blitz, so much so they started playing base 4-5 man lines only and playing max coverage which makes you hold the ball longer as coverges are tighter.,,.maybe understand football a bit more.

Also what sad is even with 4-5 our OL late in the season was still getting to the rb and qb, topo many penalties and inconsistent play along that line creating most of our issues last part of the season and for sure in the playoffs...

how can that be if he can not make quick decisions,..you all hater trolls need to find another target your piss poor narratives get busted regularly.

remove Tolbert insert Pollard and Turpin that would be what 1-3 games we can play with strong run game and use a lot of motions from the slot , 2-3 TE sets and Turpin and pollard with short passes they can get YAC.. i mean imagine the the motions, sweeps, bubble screens and other things that those two can run especially if they look like run pays to zeke some plays...you suck that defense in early in games and then get Lamb out in the open for deeper routes later in games etc.

and then bam Gallups back. No reason to be concerned i mean we have 2 starting WRS and a nice compliment group with speed etc.

this title should have been IM scared about the OL holding up well enough to have a offense run efficiently, At ALL..

im not worried one but about the WR group. even Furgeson and Hendershot look more then serviceable. MOORE if hes been working hard to come up with plans to get out of his schemes and start looking at our talented group and figure out how to make those players better with plays that suit them not force them to run his offense Turpin and pollard can be as big of weapons as Deebo if used properly, that the issue..

can MOORE come up with plays specially designed for our individual talent vs his offensive schemes...not sure.he might be the first to lose his job or get demoted no way MM knowing he could be on the hotseat allows Moore to continue where he left off last year not utilizing talent like pollard...

Moore hasn't used Pollard well yet so let's see if he does this year. Again between Moore and if an injury happens this season I just think there are a lot of question marks. Gallup went down last year and it wasn't a big deal because of the depth. He or Lamb miss significant time this year and it's a huge deal. And this is all a moot point if the o-line is poor. I just have low expectations for this offense this year. I hope I'm wrong.
