Jefferson is better.

But if you flip Jefferson and Lamb, Lamb would put up really good numbers and Jefferson would likely be wasted here with the current offensive set up we have.

Jefferson went to a better organization and was able to utilize his talent.

Look at this college play. He was a mini Kupp. Unstoppable. But you need to hit him in stride. Nothing he can do with jump balls and balls thrown three yards behind him.

Put him on the Chiefs and I think he would dominate. Dak just doesn’t have the accuracy to utilize his talent.
I agree. The way Dak is throwing to him forcing hops and balls behind, CD was a great route runner and YAC guy, not a speed demon that’ll beat you over the top. We lack an accurate QB. Also, it doesn’t help that he was being doubled all night.

And it's also up to the OC to get him into those kinds of situations too.

There's just so much fail with this offense from the QB to the other WRs to the OL to the OC.

Exactly. Without speed you need something special. Size, hands, routes, quickness, something. Lamb has none of those. His big calling card was after the catch magic, but at the NFL level he hasn't really shown even that. But the drops are the biggest problem.

Because he's never really put into a position to show his skill set. Dak isn't a terribly accurate QB when it comes to hitting guys in stride and Moore should be setting up ways to get Lamb into those kind of situations.

Put it another way............ if Lamb had Andy Reid scheming for him and Mahomes throwing him the ball, we'd all be saying, "Damn, why can't we get a WR like that?"

I won't disagree with that, maybe. He still drops a lot of passes. But true enough, he's rarely catching the ball on the run, and even less frequently in stride.

I just think it was dumb to part with Cooper and throw all your confidence to Lamb. I thought Lamb+Cooper was awesome and loosened the entire Offense up for everyone. They broke up the band last off season and relied on scrubs to take places when something was working. The D is who really pooed the bed in the playoffs and they fixed some things on it. Why change anythin on the offense but maybe draft more OL to develop? The expected a 3rd round guy and James Washington to do the job without a hitch. I mean you'd at least think they'd be smart enough to get two tier 2 type WR's that have played well like Curits Samuel (he tore it up for the commanders today). It doesn't make any sense to me. Say what you want about Cooper/Wilson an their money but you get what you freakin pay for a lot of times.

It’s harder to break tackles with average speed and no size. Fed Wilson was the quickest guy in the team last year.

I think Tolbert can be a starter in time. I’d rather have ced Wilson and cooper. The worst thing to happen to this offense we in 10 years was lamb being there when we picked.
