that game plan was horrible, anyone who thought that WR core was going to line up and beat secondary straight up was fooling themselves....you throw in a horrible game by the QB adn this is what it looks like....Dak played bad last night, CeeDee played bad last night.....The OC gave them no help though and needs to be gone also.

I'd rather trade Parsons. Trading him could get you multiple picks. You'd be lucky to get a 2nd for Lamb.

I don't think Lamb is a bust, as some people, but he definitely needs to step it up. His QB wasn't giving him any chances last night, but still he had some opportunities. He needs to seize those. Who knows? Making some catches could give the rest of the offense (maybe Dak) some confidence to step it up. Seems like when drops start happing, it just builds up this black cloud over the entire offense, as it did last night.

Not sure what might have gone wrong with the guy we thought we had in CeeDee!
He can't seem to get separation but even if he does, he mishandles the ball.

For whatever reason, he appears to handle playing the slot better than the outside.

Get him out of here while we can get something for him....he is a 2 1/2 at best on a team with a great WR corp. We need to burn this thing to the ground at HC, OC, and QB ASAP....we need an ENTIRE new WR corp....the only persons I hold onto is maybe Dennis Houston and Jake Ferguson, because they are cheap and have an upside. The WR corp we went into the season with was NEVER going to take us to the next level, no matter how well Dak played....they are garbage...Lamb included!!! And don't ask me how we are supposed to get rid of Dak ASAP....I'm not the GM with the fatheaded son, and Arkansas fun baby....let him figure it the hell out.

Burn it down so the same front office can rebuild it? Why? Results will be the same.

Watch out buddy you will be accused of taking a veiled shot Dak. Everyone was putting their eggs in the baskets of a Terence Steele, Tyler Smith for CWill I was fine with when Tyron was expected to go out at LT, but trading Amari, and letting Wilson go when Gallup was going to miss a major part of the season and then on top of that sign a big contract yeah who did not see this coming this team snake bitten when major injuries happen with this team it happens in bunches,

Oh I take plenty of shots at Dak. Read some of my opinions. I argued against his contract vociferously on here. I don't think nor have I ever thought he was good enough to lead this team anywhere but NFC East glory. I am realistic though and do not expect Jerry to get off the Dak bus anytime soon.

I also argued all off season that Terrence Steele was not good enough to be the starting RT. I was fine with the Tyler Smith pick IF the plan was to put him a LT and back-up tyron as a swing tackle. That apparently was never the thought process in Dallas as he played G the entirety of training camp and only got reps at LT after the injury.

I warned about the perils of not replacing Amari Cooper. I remember Dak before Amari arrived and it was not pretty. I never considered CD to be WR1 despite his draft position. He's a slot guy and not fast enough to stretch the field.

Deedee does not play like a number one. His hands are suspect and he lacks elite speed and size. He will be a good pro, but the Cowboys broke out the anointing oil way too fast.

Ceedee Lamb was selected with the #17 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft and to date has acquired the following stats:

28 games 242 targets 155 receptions 2,066 yards 13.3 ypc 11 td's 64% catch % 16 drops (6.6% drop %) 19 rushes 158 yards 1 td 2 fumbles

Justin Jefferson was selected with the #22 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft and to date has acquired the following stats:

32 games 303 targets 205 receptions 3,200 yards 15.6 ypc 19 td's 67.7% catch % 9 drops (3% drop %) 7 rushes 16 yards 2 fumbles

So the question becomes is Jefferson simply the better WR or is it that Jefferson has a better QB that throws to him?

Lamb is easily my favorite offensive player we’ve drafted since probably Dez Bryant. That said, I’ve been really disappointed in his consistency and how he’s developed. You cannot be a No. 1 if you can’t be relied upon to catch the ball. Yes, some of the issues are the ball placement by Dak, but Lamb has just flat-out dropped too many balls that should have been routine for a great receiver.

I don’t think we should trade him because it would be self-defeating, but any nonsense comparing him to Jefferson in Minnesota is just pure comedy.

It can be hard when you don;t know where the ball is gonna be. CeeDee is already thinking of YAC route....while trying to figure out where the ball will be. It could be a mistake to do that instead of secure the ball but it was served him well so far.

Those were some very bad passes to a WR like CeeDee.

The passes straight up the middle to Dalton were fine. There's some problem with Dak throwing to a receiver on the move horizontally?

Yeah, it seems a case of lousy management, if I'm not mistaken.

I really believe he'd be much better off playing in the slot (imho.)

----He is good but "maybe" not a #1 WR just yet. But what help did he have last night?

On a good team, Lamb isn't even a #2 right now.

Do whatever. This team is unable to compete with the elite teams. And now minus Dak they won't even be able to beat the bottom feeders. Unless the o-line and receivers step up this is a five win team, tops.

I usually don't overreact like this one game into a season but we all saw the signs of last night's result for months. There was always the hope they could overcome it but it's clear this offense is going to be on struggle bus, with or without Prescott.

As a fan, I wish it were this simple. I, too, would like to see them win something meaningful again in my lifetime. My wife and I traveled to all 3 Super Bowls in the 90's so we have those memories. Our daughter is 26 and she has never seen them win squat.

I'm in the same boat, 30 and only seen 3 wildcard wins since I've been a fan. Can I be your son in law, playboi?!?!?

You would be lucky to get a 3rd for Cee Dee.
