CD was dropping too many critical passes last year, if you honestly want to recall. That stated he is an outstanding No. 2 receiver. Putting him in this lead receiving role and with Gallup still out was trial by fire. The offensive line is a shell of itself. Tyler Smith is the future bright spot. We should have diligently resolved the line issues during free agency and not just the draft. Case in point is going through the Peters acquisition scramble near the onset of the regular season.

Stephen has his job because of nepotism. I don't think he should be calling anyone out.

Bingo. It just goes to shows you that he lives in a bubble devoid of expectation or criticism. Somehow, nobody in the national media is taking him or Jerry to task for the miserable off season they put the team through.

First it was Dez, then AC and now CD. They all have one thing in common, they all needed to play better for Dak.

Welcome to opposite world or better named the cowboys front office. The FO that just about always does the opposite of what I would have done,

Of course to be fair, my opinions of how ti run the franchise was always based upon winning championships vs. owning the franchise and wanting to maximize revenue.

God they are such arrogant fools.

Did they not think that teams would look at our WR room with no Gallup and just decide to take Lamb away and dare the likes of Brown, Turpin, Houston to beat us?

They really have no idea what the heck they are doing.

This is the part of the play where after their master plan implodes before their eyes they blame others instead of themselves.

Look at Amari’s stats last year. Two 100 yard receiving games (last w/ Cooper Rush) and only averaged 46 yards a game the last half of the season. Maybe its time to acknowledge we have a QB problem.

no offense but folks like you are exactly why Jerry and Stephen keep getting away with their dumb decisions. I'm talking about how clear of an error (based off game 1) it was to trade away Amari without a suitable replacement and yet you somehow blame it on Dak. Whether we have a QB problem or not is irrelevant to this point right now because any QB is likely going to struggle with an inconsistent no. 1, Noah Brown and Dennis Houston as his top receivers. IF Amari was still here and Dak played like he did, then i absolutely would've laid the blame his way....but he isn't so why are we talking about Dak? That's a whoooole different discussion

I got no problem with somebody throwing CD under the bus.
In my neighborhood he'd be sitting on the storm drain with all the rest of the guys who heard footsteps and couldn't catch the freaking ball.

He can have a cool name They can give him an 88 jersey but he hears footsteps and can't catch the ball.

Okay some of Daks throws might be a little behind him or whatever but Mike Evans can catch the ball with one hand falling backward why cuz he's an NFL receiver.

CD is more hyped crap from Jerry's money making machine

You give CeeDee Lamb Tom Brady as his QB with a real OC and we’d all be lamenting why Jerry can’t get a WR like that.

This is rich considering the front office work this past off season.

Stephen made the same dumb mistake twice. Fool me once...
He got rid of a #1WR without a real plan to replace him. No one should blame CeeDee because if you were paying attention you'd know he wasn't ready for all this...Amari was still teaching him stuff.

i have absolutely no problem with this

CD with his preening and gestures needs to stop dropping passes that hit him in the hands . He is a WR, right? That’s kind of his job

Thought experiment: Jerry and Stephen have a falling out and Stephen resigns. What team is signing stephen to manage their cap or work in the front office? Common, he's got 26 years of front office experience....... <crickets>

I underestimated how important Cooper was. Stephen is in charge and should have better judgement than an internet poster.
I didn't underestimate it.

In fact, I harped on it all offseason.

You know this because you have attacked my opinions every step of the way.

I want to let you know that you are forgiven and we can be friends now that you seem to have seen the light a little.

Didn't we have one of the top ranked offenses in the league last season?
Seems kind of hard to do that with a QB problem.
