Paying Dak $160 million worst decision in sports history. Everything else pales in comparison. They ain’t going nowhere if they had Jerry Rice and Randy Moss. Dak cant deliver. He is done. He is toast. Dont put us fans in hell for the next few years with this sub average qb. He sucks.
You could've just said you don't like Dak. I honestly can't wait til he leaves and goes somewhere where he'll be appreciated and we're back to the Chad Hutchinson's of the world.

Get a clue huh?

Did you not watch the 1st round tackle play? Looks like we will be just fine there.

You probably complained about that pick too. Just face it, you want to whine and complain because it makes you feel smart.
LOL. You mean the guy they drafted to EVENTUALLY take over for Tyron?

The plan was for him to play at guard. You know. Where Farniok got abused all night.

You need to get your head out of Jerrys you know what. This team FAILED. And when we are picking in the top ten next year. Fans like you will be the reason. Because you cant see past your cowboys blinders.

I guess you were also ok with Jerry basically telling everyone on National television that the fans are there to provide him with income. lol

Can you imagine paying $200 for tickets to see this team?

$200? At this point I wouldn't pay $20. If tickets were given to me for free, I'd have to serious consider whether I wanted to waste my time going to the stadium or not.

I believed in Dak. I supported Dak. I didn't want him signed to that ridiculous contract, but I supported him as the QB. After his performance in the last few games last year, I was on the fence about him and thought something was wrong mentally. I figured he'd fix it in the off-season. He didn't...so either he was unwilling or incapable of it. He's done. It's a shame, but it is what it is. He's not going anywhere else and lighting it up. If he goes anywhere it'll probably be as a veteran backup or a washed-up starter that helps torpedo his new team unless they have what he had in 2016... stars all over the offensive roster.

Funny how this was pointed out matter of factly a bunch this off season and the only responses were “hater” or “wait until we see them first.”

Yep, there was and still is a wait and see what we've got group here who, like this FO, consistently over rate this talent.

While Bob posted a pro active approach to WR and OL concerns, the other crowd said let's just see our own guys first before investing in FA.

And here we are.

Again.

And not a single poster of the wait and see crowd has enough integrity to fess up here and say "ya know, I was wrong. We probably should have been more proactive in free agency AND sooner."

OMG.

Uh, ya they wanted to play him at G because it would be A) Easier and B) They have a pro bowl LT.

This isn't hard. When Tyron got hurt, then they adjusted. Tyron was injured like 2 weeks ago, so of course, they had to shuffle. They drafted his replacement and his play last week proves they knew what they were doing.

Farniok, other than the mentals, played very well. Farniok wasn't abused physically at all. FYI.

Try actually watching the film before commenting.

Thanks for posting. Spears is right of course. Glad national people are saying it.

This is the weirdest season in my 30 years of following the Cowboys. We took a playoff team and purposely got worse.

Farniok got destroyed. I dont know what game you were watching.

Yeah and they had no back up plan for Tyron. They adjusted? This team hasnt adjusted to anything. They reacted. Because they refuse to be PROACTIVE like the successful teams out there.

If I got them for free I would have to drive 180 miles, pay for parking, and waste most of my off day. I'm not even going if they're free.

The good news is most fans are waking up to this as well. The Cowboys are not trying to win a Super bowl. They're trying to make more money.

This season is going to blow up in Jerry's face and it's going to be almost as fun as having a Super Bowl contender...to me at least. Just sit back and enjoy. This has been a long time coming.

Man, I really hope you're right. I do believe many "true fans" (I hate that term but there is a big difference in fans who care enough about the team to be on this board vs. people who want to go to the games without knowing the names of our starting OL) are finally starting to boycott Jerry. I'm just worried that the overwhelming amount of people who just like to buy their dad Cowboys stuff for Father's Day and go to games to post about it on their Facebook will always keep Jerry's pockets full enough that any boycotting the "true fans" do will just be a blip on his radar. I know he's hearing the narratives about his leadership or lack thereof but he has been for some time now and they don't seem to do much. Here's to hoping.

I think there's going to be a massive boycott. I've never seen the fans this angry enough to throw trash at players. And Jerry has done plenty over the last 26 years.

The rest of the people are coming to the realization that they've been had and they are pissed. I cannot wait to see what happens to us against Cincinnati and how the fans react. I wish I could tune in on TV but I'll be at work.

Will Jerry do anything about it though?

He hired Parcells after he ran the team into the ditch and buried all four tires. He'll have to do something. The worst thing you can do is hurt Jerry's ego. Those post game interviews he loves doing because he's an attention ***** are going to be a lot less enjoyable and he simply can't have that.

Can you imagine if cameras caught him getting hit with trash? Like a full cup of beer right on his head. That would be priceless.

Curious where you think he might go?

If it’s next year either Miami or Tampa will both be needing QBs and both are rosters that would be a QB away (and large upgrades over Cowboys roster). After a year then it becomes hard to guess because of how roster turnover works.
