It was a foolish gamble, based on the future, and without thought to winning now. It feels funny even calling it a trade, it was a salary dump.

I think it was more than that. What Cleveland did as soon as they got him was restructure his deal. He currently counts as 6m$ against their cap; Dallas could have done that. Additionally, after this year he’d only has 2 years left. It wouldn’t have been unprecedented to extended him to further lessen the cap hit — he’d still only be 28, so a deal that lasts into his early thirties sounds about right.

I think this was more about getting rid of the person than the paper. Jerry didn’t want him on the team anymore for whatever reason.

Cooper has the best run game in the NFL and the best Oline in the NFL for play action and time for his routes.

Lamb has 1.2 seconds to try and get open behind this patchwork line, no run game for play action and one of the worst coordinators in the NFL.

And with Gallup he has no one to take away the pressure. And now he has who? Cooper Rush throwing to him? LOL

And how great was DLaw at his pay? How great was Dak?How great was Zeke?

Stop already.

He made good moves, just replaced them terribly.
Yep, And this is the moral to the story.

Most would agree the Cap moves were solid. And the top criticism over the offseason is the Cowboys didn’t do enough to replace or replenish these absences on OL or WR’s.

The Tyron and Gallup injuries also very costly when we were already depleted because of Cap moves and poor response replenishing the loss of talent.

It was a precursor coming in that the offense would struggle and Dak could be in trouble. I’d say it went pretty much as foreseen.

A combined 4 catches for 40 yards last week. 22 million Cooper and how many millions for Wilson?
Ok, then why did your boy Dakko stink it up then?
Common open that excuse book of yours and trust me you will find some goofball excuse to post!

You are 'booming' an incorrect stat seeing as how the Giants actually have the best rushing game in the NFL currently after week 1.
Top 3 run game? Is that more accurate? The point is...Amari Cooper is now playing for a team that has a top 5 Oline, top 3 running game and surrounded by talent that allows him to get single covered, thus allowing him to get open. CeeDee has none of those as of yet, thus why he was constantly double and triple teamed in coverage. Big difference.

Funny thing about Coop is people act like we couldn't win with him. Like Marvin Harrison didn't exist. Coop is Marvin without Peyton manning. Disappeared in cold games, quiet, aloof, elite routes. Coop wasn't close to being the issue

Funny how that's fair for ex-players now playing for another team, but not for Dak and our current players.
Really. Mentioning Dak in the same breath as Rogers. Lol. Rogers is top 5. Dak is bottom 1/3.

Dak and Rodgers both had shifty performances that were so b

Cooper had two plays where he completely shook the defender and got wide open in the end zone — one time the defender even fell down. Jacoby missed him both times. Even Prescott could have made those throws.

What happened with him leaving is so weird, and I have to remember the Raiders got tired of him too. It would be really interesting to have been a fly on the wall in those moments that led to it.

Now that CeeDee is our #1 , we have to keep track of the games "he totally disappears" in.

Current count - 1

That's what dumb people said about Coop - "He disappears" , what dumbness.

Dak had all those things for several years....and wasted it.
