Is he though? Is Jerry a great hype man?

The Dallas Cowboys were "America's Team" and Ranked #1 in revenue before he arrived and without him they probably have more post season success and are worth more.

What do you think? Most valuable franchise in the world, often most watched, often most merch sold, and often people believe his hype about SB aspirations. It’s not necessarily a good thing.

Makes one wonder, did they set their big board up by who they wanted to select if available. Or was it really by BPA.
I believe it was set up for need, not BPA.

Absolutely it was set up for need the last 2 years. They were dead set on corner last year and offensive line this year.
Lawrence Taylor could've been sitting on the board and we would've passed on him. :star:

What’s with the roster gymnastics at backup QB and K?
I don't know but it's too risky for my liking. If Rush is expected to start at QB for the next few weeks, he needs to stay on the roster. Why risk it?

As the franchise continues to stack decades of unsuccessful seasons upon unsuccessful seasons, the fan base starts to lose sight of what excellence looks like.

Dallas should have renegotiated Amari Cooper's contract like the Cleveland Browns did.
Remember the Twilightzone episode where Billy Mummy would stare at anybody he didnt like and put him in the cornfield? Well Amare is in a cornfield in Cleveland right now.

Ridgeway sucks....how he ever made the cut after that Seattle debacle...is beyond me. Might have been one of the worst beating I have ever seen a human take. He's lucky he isn't paralyzed.
Ya, that one play he got steamrolled he was gassed after making a play. Went half speed and got destroyed.

I am not ready to say he can't play though

I think he's a hype man but not a great one. Cowboys were the most valuable and most watched before him too.

He's sounds more and more like a delusional idiot with his corny cliche's and innuendos.
I wish a real reporter would step up and hammer him on his failure as GM like he deserves

This front office and coaching staff is full of numbskulls.

They drafted Connor Williams and forced him to play Guard, even though he would have been better at playing either Tackle or Center due to his athleticism. They released him this offseason. Miami picked him up, made him their starting Center, and last Sunday he finished the weekend as the #1 performing Center to start the season. This same bunch of numbskulls have failed at properly rebuilding our Oline because they don't know who should start at what position, much less know who should be starting and who shouldn't.

They are making the same mistake with the receiving crew for the same reasons. Last Sunday, they started Armstrong at right DE and played him there most of the game. Armstrong was a complete failure who never once put any heat/pressure on or came close to Tom Brady, much less ever secured that right edge against the run. Sam Williams should have started and played there most of the game, but this group of coaches simply can't think properly for some weird reason.

Now, they are risking of losing John Ridgeway for their own incompetence. Good luck finding another big guy to plug in the middle if Ridgeway gets stolen and Bohanna suddenly suffers an injury. We will be back to having the middle of the D-line be our weakest point once again, especially against the run.
The stupidity is something to marvel at. It never stops.

I've heard many times they were losing something like a million dollars a month before Jerry bought the team. That's probably an exaggerated figure, but I find it hard to believe they were #1 in revenue at that time.
