You must have missed the preseason. Sam Williams is a physical beast. He needs a little time like most rookies to acclimate to the NFL but it's just a matter of time before he is the best DE on the roster (Parsons is still a LB at this point).

He may become a beast. No argument from me. But if you can get him in the 3rd round it's a mistake to take him in the second. Same dumb mistake the Giants made when they drafted QB Jones 6th overall when he would have been there in the late first early second.

I'm going by what I heard and his draft number. Several people I respect had him as a 3rd round pick. Graded our 2nd round pick as a D, not because he was bad, but because they thought he was a later round pick.

There's an art to the draft. You don't pick a guy you can get in the 3rd round sooner just because you like him. That's stupid. Every board had him at 3rd round or 4th round.

Not a good sign that he can only get few snaps playing behind Armstrong.

Believe it or not, they have a deep roster and couldn't just keep Ridgeway as a redshirt player. He probably makes it through waivers and still continue his development. Most wrote-off Bohanna in yr 2 and now he is a starter. I think they have more decisions to come, need to still add Peters and a backup QB.

I know. Lets see what he can do. I still wish they would have taken one of those good DTs. But hey, maybe I'm wrong.

Exactly, this move was to get Ridgeway through waivers which should happen especially on the weekend and put Basham on IR which they now can give Sam Williams a lot more snaps against a weak defensive line. We will see the depth with Williams and Fowler getting more snaps and others being active this week like Bell and others that were not active in week 1.

Buddy, you never argued that with me. You argued that Connor Williams would beat out Biadasz for the starting center job. You lost the bet.

You also bet we would resign Connor. I laughed in your face and told you he was gone. You lost again.

I could care less what Connor Williams does on another team.
I argued that Connor Williams could become a better Center than Biadasz if given the chance. Look at who was the #1 rated Center after Week 1. Who is right now?

Pal, all we argued about was concerning Williams beating out Biadasz which you lost badly.

What Williams does in Miami is of no concern to me. Feel free to start rooting for the Dolphins if you like. You can follow your hero to your hearts content.

However if I was to bet on Williams staying atop the center charts I would bet against it. One week means nothing. But it does show how desperate you are the actually get something right.

I argued for the Center position. You said Connor Williams would never become a Center, much less a good Olineman.

Bottom line... You were wrong. I was right. End of discussion.

I was hoping.

I also remember the Quinton Bohanna is a new and improved beast posts too.

Bohanna improved a lot. He was unfit for the NFL last year, and now he's just a really poor NFL player.

Remember in 2021 when Gallimore was a "beast" in camp who was "poised to tear up the league"? He didn't even get hyped this year. Only got 35% of snaps.

Gotta admit that I expected more out of Gallimore. Liked the pick. Liked his attributes.

True. Had they not got rid of Wilson there was no need to draft a WR in the 3rd.

They didn't "get rid" of Wilson, they just didn't outbid the highest bidder in free agency.

I liked Wilson, but we could spend 7mil of cap better. 12.5mil gtd? No thanks.

LOL.......... you keep changing what we said.

I said he would lose to Biadasz which he did. Never said anything about him as a Dolphin. But nice try buddy. Love the way you try to manufacture victories with lies. The desperation.

That’s just not how the draft goes. Everyone doesn’t have the same guys on their board. Some guys may have had a 3rd round grade on him but a late 2nd and early 3rd is the same thing. Not only that but guys get taken far earlier than expected.
A lot of people had a 3rd round grade on Fredericks when we picked him. Cowboys clearly didn’t.

These teams are plugged in. They have a bunch of scouts on payroll as opposed to some hack making a list of guys he likes.
