This was my interpretation as well.I thought it was a tie to be honest, being objective. Tie goes to the offensive player I believe in that situation.
I just watched this again, and I need someone to explain that one to me. At no point did Cincy have clear possession of the ball, and obviously Parsons had the ball in the end. How do they give the ball to the Bengals there?
This , thanks thought so .I thought it was a tie to be honest, being objective. Tie goes to the offensive player I believe in that situation.
Mixon never had possession of the ball. He reached out for it and had an arm on top of it and Micah using both hands grabbed it away and possessed the ball the whole time with Mixon twisting on top.I thought it was a tie to be honest, being objective. Tie goes to the offensive player I believe in that situation.
It's not tie when Mixon never had control or possession.I just seen it again, on the local ABC sports from DFW.
I can see why they said a tie. So yes tie goes to offense.
As was mentioned the Bengals had it, Micah pulled it away then the Bengals player grabbed it. Bit Micah still had control.
It actually could be called down by contact either way. But the refs did not call that.
Just said Bengals recovered.
Excellent questionI just watched this again, and I need someone to explain that one to me. At no point did Cincy have clear possession of the ball, and obviously Parsons had the ball in the end. How do they give the ball to the Bengals there?
Excellent question
The ref thought both had the ball?
Would love no know the official position
Cinci recovered. Micah tried to cheat.
Exactly what happenedMixon never had possession of the ball. He reached out for it and had an arm on top of it and Micah using both hands grabbed it away and possessed the ball the whole time with Mixon twisting on top.

They should have made it a jump ball.I thought it was a tie to be honest, being objective. Tie goes to the offensive player I believe in that situation.
