If we start getting turnovers like last year and some points from punt and kickoff returns, they’ll be that much better. The kicker is doing fine though. Penalties will probably remain a constant

Need to force more punts deep inside the opponent's territory to give Turpin a chance to return.

Ive seen both their games.

They are playing inspired, conservative, somewhat mistake free football.

They are getting a push on the DL. They have a healthy Saquon Barkley.

They will have a liquored up Monday night crowd who haven't felt this good in a while.

It's not going to be an easy spot.

Yep, me too. I usually keep an eye on them and the Eagles pretty closely.
Even though the Giants have sucked for a decade except for the fluke 2016 season, my best friend is a G men fan so I am usually very much in tune with that team's situation.

I follow Philly pretty closely for the obvious reason that they pose the most challenging threat in the division. Strangely enough I don't pay much attention to Washington.

I think it’s just a matter of time, but getting points from other sources is a must when fielding a backup quarterback for a 5-6 game stretch. Gonna need turnovers and points when Rush struggles

Turpin will be just like I thought hed be. Someone to fair catch punts and watch the kick offs sail into the end zone. His skillset will be lost with Kellen Moore. He did have one decent return yesterday but i just dont see him as the weapon wed hoped.

The ticket holders may have sold their tickets to Cowboys fans before the season even started.
Don't be surprised if there is a good Cowboys crowd there.

There is a huge holdover of 90s Boys fans in Jersey still there. No doubt.

Chris Christy wasn't and isnt the only Boys fan still there. Not by a long shot.

They needed a last second field goal to beat a Panthers team that has lost their last 10 games.

Jones had less yards passing than Cooper Rush had this week.

Stop Saquan and you win.

I predict a low scoring very close game determined by penalties and turnovers. Gnats open a 3 point favorite so on a neutral field an even game.

Yeah I'm plopped in the dead middle of Giants country so I know more about them than most teams just by listening to local radio, fans etc.

They have gotten some nice names out of the last few drafts, and now I'm concerned that they have an actual talented staff in place. Jeez I hope not.

I knew they were screwed with the Garrett hire, and I really thought the would BS his way into more time there and completely bury the QB, but they may have grabbed themselves a raft on him.

Completely agree.

A boneheaded mistake or two is the difference in this game. Either side is very capable.

Should be a good game.

I admire the Maras for figuring out the whole Garrett fraud thing in little to no time. Probably why they have two chips in the millennium.

Well the saving grace is we generally play well in NY and now this week Rush is on par with Jones at QB.

With Cooper Rush under center. It may or may not be pretty but until proven otherwise all Cooper Rush does is win!
I agree. If the defense can play on the level of the first two games, the offense won't need more than 14 points to win. Rush can provide that.

Yeah, its not like Danny has a lot of weapons to work with.

it's weird. i though between toney, galloday and robinson they'd have a pretty dynamic group. but those guys all appear to be in the doghouse.

hopefully thibadeux plays because I'd like to see how Tyler fairs

From what I understand, Toney is a problem child. Galloday may have let up after getting paid. Shepard & Slayton have age & injuries. Don't see a Robinson on their depth chart.

The Giants OL is improving after they spent the offseason replacing the players they had.

The Cowboys LBs had better have a stellar day because they cannot let Barkley loose. Too much speed. But he is prone to dancing around if he cannot find a hole right away.

They also have to worry about Daniel Jones running. He has good speed for a QB and he will run if there is an opening. The Cowboys must contain him.

The Giants have two first round picks (high first round picks) at OT. We will see how good Micah is this week. Sam Williams might have a good day facing the Giants 1st round pick from this year.

The Giants are a feisty team and Dabol appears to be a feisty coach. The Cowboys better be prepared for a 60 minute brawl.

One thought about Dabol and his coaching style. We have seen guys like him before with other teams. They seem to burn out quickly or they eventually turn off their players. Dabol likes to yell at his players and coaches on the sideline during the game. Call it passion, but I call it a time bomb waiting to go off in the locker room. It would not surprise me to see the Giants with another new HC in a year or two.

Right. Just suprising how it's played out. Robinson = Wandale Robinson their second round pick who's another small, shifty playmaker who seemed to have a buzzworthy camp

Dallas hasn't played a mobile QB yet.

Curious to see our plan for containing Daniel Jones. Dak owns the Giants, but he ain't playing.

Either way, I can't wait.

:huh: he has 50 yards in two games. I doubt we are worried about his running. Maybe you're confusing him with another QB....lol
