I have no opinion. Debate. I know people will either say he doesn’t get touches or other end lost a step. Just interesting …

It's clear the physicality of the game and the amount of total carries over the year have taken a toll on his body.

I think it's important to look at his carries per game if we're going to consider his yards per game. For example, he had 322 carries in 15 games his rookie season and last year, he had 237 in 17 games. Obviously, his workload has changed.

Fans might infer from this that his second season was his second best, but it actually was his second worst as far as average per carry (4.1). His worst (4.0) was 2020.

RB.
That one position that gets run into the ground faster than any other.

We get mad at him securing his financial future early, but anyone that's financially savvy would do the same.

I get it.
We love our team and want everyone to play for a discount.

Those players that get bashed in a car wreck 20 times a week don't think that way.
You go and get crashed in a car wreck 20-30 times a game and see where you demand your pay.

I get us. I get that we want our team to win above all else, but these are human beings getting battered into the ground and they know it so they want to be compensated.

Wish his athleticism could have lasted longer, but here we are.

I will not blame him for what he did.

I've seen Tony Dorsett right now.
It's not cool.

Typical click bait from someone who usually does not stoop that low in Sturm.
YPC is much more to the point.
If you are only getting 10 carries a game and average 52.3 yds per game then you are doing very well.

Why don't they show Pollards yards per game?

OH THAT IS NOT FAIR!

Sure I agree to a point.

That being said Zeke is being paid to be a bell cow RB. The center piece of the offense. And he just isn’t that anymore.

Which is what makes it problematic.

2017: 33/ 3.4 - Zeke played the first 8 games before he was suspended for 6. Week 2 is when he had the infamous 9 rushes for 8 yards against Denver.

Zeke is not a good fit in KM’s offense.

And still the most productive and effective RB on the team.

I wonder if the Zeke supporters even watch other NFL games. I was watching Bears and Packers and even David Montgomery, who is not considered an elite back, was routinely making runs and breaking tackles Zeke hasn’t been able to do in years. It’s so obvious if you watch any football how much he is lacking in elusiveness and explosiveness.
