yards per carry is an important metric.
That will give a better prespective

but you need a large sample of carries to say its important....50 carries and a 6.5 YPC, is not going to translate to 200 carries at the same average.

The numbers don’t lie, nor does the eye test. Some just don’t wanna see it, probably because they don’t want to.

They would have to admit they are wrong.

Emmitt had like 340 carries every year Dallas won a Super Bowl. That's like 21 carries a game. Back then it was noted that Aikman wins almost 90% of the games that Emmitt had 20 carries. Now a days Dak needs 100 yards on the ground to win. So if McCarthy runs Zeke like Jimmy ran Emmitt our Super Bowl chances would increase.

Zeke hasn't necessarily lost a step, he's just not being relied upon like he was in 2016.
