I'm not disabling my adblocker just to read the article, but I assume McCarthy said this simply because he feels Dak is the better QB, and as a rule, he's right. Dak played horribly in the first game, and Rush played well enough within the game plan to come away with a win in week 2. If they were to ask Rush to do all the things they ask Dak to do (granted, it seems Dak doesn't do it as well as we'd like) I don't think he'd be as successful.

I doubt seriously the average person could win a live jeopardy contest against an engineer or have total recall from a game 13 years ago. So blast him all you want, but the guy is actually smarter than the average person and also smarter than the majority of quaterbacks that ever played. Smarter than McCarthy for sure which is not a very high bar.

Jerry Jones is a master at getting the media and NFL reporters and analysts, to always focus on the Cowboys. And keep the Cowboys at the forefront of their NFL hot topics.
