Can Rush give us 1 more win against Washington?

I can’t wait to play Wentz and Washington. I can’t say that about Eagles.

I predict a Cowboys win v Washington….but I have no comment yet on games v Rams and Eagles. I am now a big believer in your defense, but am still not convinced your defense can pressure Stafford and Hurts like you did Jones.

Washington were missing both starting DE's and a few other players against the Eagles. They get those guys back this week. May not be as easy of a game as many think.
I still think we are the better overall team though.

I agree, better opponent then last week, but we should still win.

If the defense keeps playing like this, we can certainly continue winning. Washington is better vs the run, but we need to stick with the balance 12 personal. It's working and not getting Rush killed. I think he will have some shots deep downfield we can expose. Can't wait!

Broaddus has me thinking we are playing the 91’ Washington team except Wentz is the quarterback. Gonna be a tough game because they probably feel they owe us one after the 56 points we put on them last year. They have more talent then the Giants at the skill positions but the Giants are better coached. Washington has a lot of names and high draft choices playing as individuals.

Defense has especially underachieved with their talent. The benchmark is 20 points for our offense, score 20 we will beat this team.

Washington might have the most talented team in the East player wise. Chase is as talented as Parsons, they really miss him. Their front seven on paper is scary. Solid secondary. Good running backs and receivers. Horrible offensive line though. We have to punish that weakness.

I thought the same thing, but we can't be fooled, they are an aggressive group that will try and make plays on the ball short and intermediate specifically. But, they're not really equipped deep. Seems like Rush has a nice deep ball, so he could capitalize on their aggression. I hope.
Our WRs train against our secondary, which is well beyond that of Washington, so it could get ugly for them.

The Rush mania wave is as big as a tsunami. Rush has energized the entire team, offense, defense, and special teams. He has energized the fan base, the media.There's no way that team from Washington can withstand so much energy. Rush and the Cowboys win easy 30 - 16

I think some of the fan base is excited to see someone OVER achieve at the QB position as opposed to the opposite.

Sometimes less is more (definitely no pun), and those who are a little more knowledgeable have known that we needed to get the run game going again, which we have done so far.

We have a good enough defense to win that way and I hope it continues when Prescott returns.

Hopefully it becomes clear to the powers that be that winning games is more important than justifying contracts.

The Cowboys with Cooper Rush have shown they are the better team. So they should win this game easily. Carson Wentz shouldn't finish the game.

That could be his own fault. I rewatched the game and saw him trotting after a scrambling QB. ANother player came up made Jones just barely get rid of the ball. Parsons sped up but a hair too late. If he'd gone full speed he may have gotten that one. Was a bit disappointing, sack or not.

The Washington Commanders, hate that name, are similar to the Giants, but are more talented.

They have legitimate skill players that can hurt the Cowboys, but their OL might be worse then what we just faced the last two weeks, especially if Wentz keeps on holding the football. Gibson has hurt us on the ground in the past. Outside receivers are very good.

Defensively they still have a formidable front even without Chase Young. Running might be tough sledding, especially early on. Their corners are better then what we just faced, but still very beatable.

maybe but for sure our lead leading defense, sts, and run game sure can HELP..

I disagree, Isn't Chase on the PUP? We need to be concerned with Payne and Allen in the middle. Allen is a dog.

HE WAS SICK

at 75% and his presence is what funneled sacks to the other guys. facts. even when not filling up the sack stat line his pressures and command of double teams.

I don't take any games for granted, can Washington win? Yes. Cowboys are not putting up a lot of points right now and while we all want to see Dallas run the ball, you tend not to put up a lot of points doing that so Washington has a chance to stay in the game. Face it most rule changes have taken place in the passing game and why? because NFL wanted to see more scoring. If Cowboys can run the ball hopefully that will lead to big plays down the field for some quick strike plays. If not you are looking at a low scoring game and Washington should be able to hang around.

easy?? not with Rush at qb we barely are winning these games

and BTW we were missing SIX starters ourselves, including our QB..keep that in mind.. eagles are benefiting from a healthy team right now but much like Miami last night the eagles are due and hope we are the ones that burst their bubble.
