Defenses are good early in the season but most good offenses adjust and become on par or better than defenses. It will be the offense that carries the team at the end of the season.

Especially in today's game when most starters don't play in the preseason.

Cowboys 2-0 without your boi with QB leading us to late game winning drives

Jerry tossed Romo in the trash back in 2016, but we all know he won't do that to Dak. There's far too much money invested in a contract Jerry can't get out of. I'm just curious to see how the team responds when Dak returns. If he continues playing like he did in week 1 things will get really interesting.

The game is a balancing act.

You have to have both a good offense and defense. The only way you can win in the postseason with one much less than the other is if the other one is a dominant one, i.e., an exceptional offense or defense, e.g., the Bills of the 90s or the Ravens in 2000. But even the Bills of the 90s could not overcome the good to great offenses and defenses of their opponents in the SBs they lost.

Even if your defense is good, if your offense lays a turd, they're going to lose. Likewise, the same applies on the other side of the ball.

The Cowboys lost against SF because the offense kept laying a turd. A good to very good defense can only hold a good offense/defense team for so long.

That's why people have issues with Dak. He doesn't handle higher level competition well because he simply doesn't have the tangibles to be more than just a good QB and he can't do that consistently. He needs the team around of him to play much better than they are capable of to compensate.

What i hate about KM is when he gets inside the red zone, he seems to completely forget what has been working and tries to get cute with some razzle dazzle crap and winds up with FG. You usually lose when you keep kicking FGs.... if your OL is dominating the run, then either keep doing it or run play action. You don't need end arounds, jet sweeps, WR screens.

Need to score more TDs is right. :D

Interesting theory. If so how would you explain daks drop last year vs his red hot start?

No Dak took Jerry’s favorite adopted son’s job and told him it’s over, and forced him to pay the market rate. That running game is keeping Rush in the game and the defense fresh. Dak will just add more fire power to the offense to win games and make this team elite.

Simple formula, run the ball, use the passing game within the limits of the qb, don't make stupid errors that put you behind and forces you into must throw situations. Most importantly, find out which throws our qb1 can make during PRACTICE and game day situations. I'm guessing Dak looks fabulous in practice on every throw but melts when it's against live fire defenses that are NOT in prevent mode.

Cowboys offense started hot and ended poor last year. Kinda opposite of your point.

Still false. Ended poorly in the playoff game against a superior opponent that physically whipped us and showed us we were not tough enough for the playoffs. But take a look at the last 4 games of the season. The offense was rolling. The bottom line is for Dallas, it doesn’t matter who plays QB or who can make the most plays through the air. Success requires balance with a commitment to the run game and a solid defense.

Shortest distance to the goal.

The offense was mostly held back to due to large number of penalties that killed positive drives History shows the defense is the one that get bullied and ran over for 100 yards + rushing each time.

Dakattack and his silly threads with a bunch of video unavailable videos are back ........ yay!
