It was the smart play for them and they did a good job of stopping the run.

I do not think they expected the Cowboys to attack downfield like they did with Rush, so either the Cowboys anticipated that would be Washington's strategy or they adapted to it once they realized it.

What did them in were all the freaking penalties. They were legit penalties so they have no excuse. What used to kill the Cowboys. But yeah, great game by Rush for leading the team, no bus driver this game.

I dont think the Rams run defense is nearly as good as the Commodes. Their front 7 minus Donald is just mid level. Dallas' ground game will be much better next week.
