Washington had a nice game plan

Their game plan was to stop the run and make Rush win the game. Rush did just that.

Our defense and kicker won the game. Rush was solid but he did throw a couple of picks that were negated due to penalties so we dodged a couple of bullets. The game likely would’ve been much different had those turnovers not been overturned. We’re relying too much on our kicker we need to start scoring more TDs. We have too many promising drives sputter out. We have some much better opponents coming up.

they just had a similar game plan to Tampa with outside runs and quick passes, its just that Brady is the GOAT.

Uhhh, no. We stopped ourselves from running when dumb Philbin benched Farniok pre-game and plugged both McGovern and Peters at Left Guard, alternating.

HUGE MISTAKE! What was our Oline's power left side when running the football the previous 3 games all but disappeared with such an ignorant coaching decision against the Commodes. I called it. Right on cue, Philbin caves in to the mass of foolish media & fans. Well, there was your result. No running attack!

Rule #1: Don't fix what is working!!!

Well this time our defense just steamrolled them into the loss.

In my opinion it was a really bad offensive performance from the Cowboys. And let's be honest here, the penalties just killed the Washington military position as a name people.

So all in all it won't be enough to win against the Rams. They have to step up their game, even if the defense can hold LA below 20.

While Rush faced and beat two pretty good teams over the last weeks imo yesterday he truly just drove the bus home. Not a bad thing in itself but not enough for next weekend.

This is exactly the same game plan the Bucs implemented against the Cowboys successfully; and Dak was unable to win the game. He was inaccurate with his passes and forced balls into coverage.

With that being said, Cooper wasn’t sharp against Washington and got lucky that his INTs were negated by penalties, but I liked the fact he kept on making throws downfield and didn’t become conservative.

Their D-line dominated up front in the run game and although the Cowboys put a lot of pressure on Wentz they only had two sacks.

Wish Dak could do that

he can and does yet when he does it, well we just played Washington no big deal. Dallas was the #1 scoring offense in the NFL last year to claim he can't do that is laughable

The Buccaneers had 8 in coverage vs 3 receivers. No QB is going to be successful against those numbers. Defenses have been doing that against us since the infamous 2021 Broncos game.

it’s a DC’s dream to be able to stop our run with a pass D package.

Talent matters in the NFL. The Cowboys have taken a step back in talent on offense but 2-3 steps forward on defense. Bad/mediocre teams are going to struggle against a team like this.

Defense won this game, gave our offense ample opportunity despite their short comings most of the game. We won 25-10 and lost the TOP battle, go figure

Those ints would not have happened had the WR not been held. I agree we need to do better finishing off drives and even Rush knows how big of a part defense is playing in these win

as good as the front 4, or front 5 are....their secondary is very suspect. they were lucky there was only a few pass interference calls. without Chase young, their pass rush was iffy. there should have been more. credit McCarthy and KM, they attacked their weakness on the defense. they knew Rush would have a little time to throw

I don’t know about those INTs not happening. Rush had pressure coming up the middle and in his face on the first one deep down the middle if the field. He couldn’t step into the throw and it floated into heavy coverage. It was a rare bad decision and would’ve been picked without the holding.

the guy he was throwing to was being held that kind of plays a big part in the int.
