As I have mentioned before I have no preference as to who the starting quarterback is, so do not look for some hidden agenda behind these scenarios.

Based on the ongoing Dak-vs-Rush Poll, the fan base is currently evenly split, so I think it would be interesting to see how any of the following scenarios changes the minds of fans.

These questions are based on Dak being fully healed and ready to start/play no later than the Lions game.

Which quarterback would you want to start in each of the following scenarios?

1) Rush wins against the Rams and Eagles, then Dak is ready
2) Rush wins against the Rams and loses to the Eagles, then Dak is ready
3) Rush loses to the Rams and wins against the Eagles, then Dak is ready
4) Rush loses to the Rams and Eagles, then Dak is ready
5) Rush wins against the Rams, then Dak is ready
6) Rush loses to the Rams, then Dak is ready

Who would you want to start for EACH of the above scenarios?

Example:

1) Rush
2) Dak
3) Rush
4) Dak
5) Rush
6) Dak

^^ Those were just randomly picked quarterback examples, not actual picks.

I already know about Prescott. He is not the answer. So i try out my backups to know how they fare. Of course i give Rush all the chances he needs.

But even if Rush looks ok he is not the answer also. I am looking for a good backup here. If Rush is gone because i cant pay him maybe Grier fits my opening.

Anyways i need to find a starter for next year.

Since Dak is going to play regardless of how we do as soon as he's healthy. My dream scenario is he can shake off the rust against the Lions and the Bears and hopefully we go in with as many wins as possible and wins in the division.

Only in scenario 1 would keep Rush as QB. But a lot depends on how they lose too. You can lose games, just as long as the QB isn't the reason you're losing.

It's past time to move on from Dak. Re-inserting him into the lineup would destroy the progress that's finally being made. The Cowboys need to make a clean break while the opportunity is fresh.

Dak all the way down.
Now if Dak lays two eggs like week 1, you've got a more interesting question...
