Sorry for not answering in the asked format...

But if there are murmurings amongst coaches that Rush does some critical things better than Dak...then if Rush comes out and has a monumental game scoring 40 points and wowing the coaches by what he did...only then do you keep this journey going to see if Rush takes another step and wows coaches against Philly.

Rush would have a short leash in the Philly game, though, imo.

Dak at some point deserves to win his spot back...even if on a short leash. Only way I dont do that is the above scenario where Rush just blows the coaches minds with his reads and throws against Rams.

1) Dak
2) Dak
3) Dak
4) Dak
5) Dak
6) Dak

Unless Rush just wows

6) Dak. In this scenario I just want to see Dak come back against the Eagles on the road and get a true test of where he's at against the Eagles first string. Should be a piece of cake, since he's discovered how simple it is from the sidelines. Should put up another 50 burger I reckon.

Just for the record, I don’t care who starts when but unless we get to the NFCCG this year we need to move on from BOTH these QBs

As I have mentioned before I have no preference as to who the starting quarterback is, so do not look for some hidden agenda behind these scenarios.

Based on the ongoing Dak-vs-Rush Poll, the fan base is currently evenly split, so I think it would be interesting to see how any of the following scenarios changes the minds of fans.

These questions are based on Dak being fully healed and ready to start/play no later than the Lions game.

Which quarterback would you want to start in each of the following scenarios?

1) Rush wins against the Rams and Eagles, then Dak is ready
2) Rush wins against the Rams and loses to the Eagles, then Dak is ready
3) Rush loses to the Rams and wins against the Eagles, then Dak is ready
4) Rush loses to the Rams and Eagles, then Dak is ready
5) Rush wins against the Rams, then Dak is ready
6) Rush loses to the Rams, then Dak is ready

Who would you want to start for EACH of the above scenarios?

Example:

1) Rush
2) Dak
3) Rush
4) Dak
5) Rush
6) Dak

^^ Those were just randomly picked quarterback examples, not actual picks.

1) Rush
2) Rush
3) Rush
4) Rush
5) Rush
6) Rush

1-6 Rush. Rush should be the QB regardless. Dakota is worthless and overhyped

The cold, harsh reality is that regardless of what Rush does these next two games, Dak will start against Detroit.

Jerry signed Dak to a huge contract with a no-trade clause, so Dak is going to play and continue to do so unless he gets hurt. This is about money and ROI vs on-field performance.

I wonder if Cooper playing at a high level makes Jerry regret Dak’s contract. Cooper has showed us that with a supporting cast of skill players and a strong defense, an average QB can win games; one doesn’t need an elite QB to be competitive.

Just think of the players we could pursue/sign and the depth we could acquire with the money saved from Prescott’s contract.

Dak in all scenarios. I like Rush for a few games but he's clearly limited.
