Skip may be projecting a bit, but I don't think he's entirely wrong.

Dak has gained a massive ego through the years, and he's also become very mentally fragile when it comes to perceived criticism of him or his offense.

Like Skip said, Cooper Rush stands in the heat and makes the required throws. And most importantly, he WINS.

Dak is notoriously skittish under pressure and is prone to inaccurate throws when the throws matter most.

Is Dak threatened? I absolutely believe he is.

All I know, though, is that Dak better start living up to the big words he always spews. Because if his play continues to falter, this fan base will turn on him en masse.

Dak is the leader of this team. He'd better have an ego and he better believe in his own abilities. Would teams rather have a quiet, sheepish starting quarterback that defers to everybody or a guy that asserts leadership?

What’s probably bothering Dak is all the love Cooper Rush is receiving for as little as he’s done in the passing game. He only attempted 16 passes yesterday completing 10 for 102 yards with no TDs and had a passer rating of 80.7. Dak knows if he put up those numbers everyone would be bashing him saying we won in spite of him. He would be under fire for not generating more offense and points.

All good if you back it up. This guy is coming up at 3 point opener which followed a stinker of a playoff game where he made an all-time stupid move to end the game. He also plays scared and confused out there and it's obvious to any objective person watching him. Teams aren't afraid to play him. He needs to keep his mouth shut as the team is winning without him as many of us could have told you.

I think people do not like Dak because it does not seem he can ever rise to Brady, Rothlisburger, Rogers, Marino, Aikman, Farve heights.

it originally looked like he could but after years under Garret, he lost something. I hope he gets it back.
Naw that ain’t it. Maybe for some but it’s all agenda driven.

Dak hasn't had any pressure since his rookie season. Competition breeds success and failure. Let's see if this actually does make Dak take the next step. I'm doubtful, but we'll see.

If you ever played sports in YOUR LIFE, we've all been a sore loser a time or too. It's called HATING TO LOSE! But what does that have to do with 'ego' or 'passion' of playing?
You should maybe sit the next few inning out there, champ….
