Im betting that he is much more, and is welcoming a change of scenery.
Hankins gets to join a top defense in the league, bet he is really happy.

Raiders fans say he's a good locker room guy. That's not it. They all seem to like him.

He was losing snaps from younger guys....who also aren't playing well. Injuries have taken their toll and one of his recent injuries was a back injury. He's a decent run blocker at this point.

I wanted Hankins a few years ago when Marinelli was here. He was a beast when he played for the Giants. Good move McClay.

For whatever reason, Marinelli hated NTs. Glad Quinn likes them.

We got one back and a NT, which was the one weakness on our defence. Now the runs up the middle shouldn't be a problem anymore.

They weren't playing him. Not sure if through the draft or free agency, but he got passed on their depth chart.

He was drafted in the 2nd round, 49th overall, from THE Ohio State, and he's not that old. Either things are looking up for us when it comes to trades or Raiders just wanted to get rid of him because of something. We will see. I hope and pray he pans out because we all know that's a position of need for us.

Exactly, which was our biggest weakness on defence. I think we now have, on paper, a top 3 defence. As long as Dak just drives the bus, we should do very well for the rest of the season. I don't see anymore weaknesses on that side of the ball.

Which makes it even better. All we need from him is to clog the middle to stop the run and prevent QBs from being able to step up. If he can do that, this defence goes to the next level.

Just turned 30...so not that old. Ex-All American from Ohio State. 2nd round pick by the Giants. 6'3" 320...

I like this acquisition for a 6th round pick. I wonder if they tried to get anyone else. Hankins is a proven force in the middle if he has anything left in the tank. He can push the pocket too.
