He could contribute in the playoffs maybe, but I'd be surprised if it's before then. Last time he tore his ACL, it was 10/25/20, and he next played in a game W3 of the following season, 9/26/2021. By the same rough math, that has him returning basically in January when the playoffs start, based off tearing his ACL in the Super Bowl on 2/13/22. Plus it probably takes some time to ramp up, as we've seen with Gallup.

What they fail to mention is if he's able to return to form he helps us on offense compete for a NFC championship or a SB with our defense. Even as a decoy he could open up Lamb, Gallup and Shultz

Gallup is not, never was, and never will be on the same level as Beckham. If OBJ is on the field, defenses have to account for him at all times, opening up passing lanes for the other guys...much like we saw with the 800 yard receiver that the geniuses up top shipped off for peanuts.

It isn't necessarily about the production of the player, but rather the ripple effect that's caused when he's in the lineup with the guys already on the team.

Every body is unique, but OBJ's ACL surgery was only 12 days after Gallup's so it seems possible.

Seems like the smartest thing to do would be to drive his price up to screw over your competition. Especially if Odell is wanting a 3 year deal. Let another team take a 3 year risk...and while were at...let me drive up the price of that risk lol

I dont think Dallas is involved and if they are I dont think we are signing a risky deal at all. He'll be cheap to us or nothing. At least I hope.
