Let's be honest with ourselves, the December 24th game vs the Eagles will probably not matter

I mean lets be honest right now, are we expecting the eagles to lose more than one game between now and December 24th? Its likely they will have lose 0 or 1 game by that time with them already leading by 3 games. And do we expect the Cowboys to go on a 6 game winning with Dak as the starter when he is 0-2 in his last two Thanksgiving starts? And the last time this time went on a 6 game winning streak with Dak as QB was his rookie season. So you can how that matchup with the eagles will probably be meaningless based on Eagles remaining schedule and Dak's history on Thanksgiving and after thanksgiving,


Lets focus on the playoffs, and worry about the eagles in January.

Dak is 0-2 in his last two Thanksgiving starts? I'm curious, do you happen to know the record of any of the other current Cowboys in their last two Thanksgiving starts?

Well, aside from the fact that Jimmy seems to think we can win the division, I don't think you can use past years' history to even try to determine this year's events. This defense is beyond anything we've had in decades, I don't think the Eagles are as good as their record says, and hopefully Moore has learned a thing or two since week one.

They already 3 games ahead so that's the reason the game probably wont matter. That's asking a lot for Dallas to be 12-2 on Christmas Eve. And lets by some miracle they win 6 in a row with Dak and 12-2, the eagles will still be too many games ahead for that game to mean anything.

I think the Eagles will drop a few, and I think it's very possible we win the rest. I'm not saying I'd bet my paycheck on it, but I do think it's a strong possibility.
