Is worth a listen at his press conference today for anyone interested in those plays.

he said on the one He saw the play the way dak did and broke down a bit what Ceedee did wrong.

but the funny thing was when the next reporter asks something on the int in the end zone and why those dudes were on top of each other with that little field to work with “GREAT QUESTION!”

lol you could tell he was kellen what are doing?

Wait, are you saying one of those two picks was the fault of the OC, and one of the WR's?

How can this be? The panel of experts here on, "I Hate All Things Cowboys," has determined this is all Dak's fault. Something is not adding up. The head coach of a professional football team has a differing opinion from the fans who watch the games on TV.

Who to believe?

He said it was on Cee Dee. Not Dak...Two games straight Cee Dee ran wrong route to cause a int.

Not the wrong route.. just the right route run incorrectly. He has allowed his instinct to run towards what he perceives to be open space to cause him to fail to honor a fundamental rule when running over the middle routes.. which is that you CANNOT let the safety beat you to the spot. You have to cross his face because the QB is counting you to get there before the DB does and will throw it to a spot rather than to a body. If you don't go to the spot but the DB does, instant INT. CeeDee is not the first receiver to do this.. But if he's going to continue to he our go to receiver he has to get that fixed. He's got to be willing to go up and take the hit to make the catch (or draw the PI) by forcing the DB to have to go through him to make a play on the ball.

Definitely said CeeDee read it wrong on the 2nd int.

he was a little less forthcoming on the 1st pick. Spacing wasn’t great, but he sure didn’t sound sold on the play call basically because it’s a play that they were probably a bit too tight to the end zone for. “On the edge” of whether there was enough room to run that play, he termed it. He’s on the headset, just kill it then

I thought Dak was a "great team leader"?
If he's such a leader he should be on the same page with his receivers. He should make clear the path they should take.
I'm not buying because this has happened a lot.
I'm not buying because we didn't hear anything when these receivers did the same things vs the Eagles!
A franchise quarterback ought to have a rein on his receivers and be in control.
But not Dak. He just sits back and let's everyone else take the blame.

I feel bad for Ceedee. He isn't a good route runner and doesn't know his routes, but he is getting scapegoated for Dak. Yes, Ceedee should have run a better route, but if you look at the play, the safety was already sitting there and did not have to move to make the int. Best case, even if Ceedee ran the route correctly was a contested incomplete. There was a brief window as Ceedee clears the front defender, but Dak holds the ball until Ceedee is into the second level. It was a bad read by Dak. Its just more clear evidence of him not being able to process things.

I played WR in high school and our coaches would destroy us if we ran sloppy routes. I was telling my son that these are some of the sloppiest and laziest routes I’ve ever seen in pro football. And there is no way if I was Dak would I feel confident throwing ahead of the WR’s break with this offense.

He’s forcing throws because right now Ceedee is all he got. No one is breaking free and none of our receivers are giving ANY defensive backs reason to take a step back as their first move. Gallup is plodding out there and Noah is a plodder anyways.
