Another great breakdown from Kurt. His insights are incredible to me, I really appreciate being able to watch a veteran like him to these breakdowns.

A couple of takeaways from me (I'm not an expert but just my 2 cents) are Dak doesn't seem to trust anyone but Lamb and Schultz. Seems like his first read on every play is to Lamb's side of the field then he goes from there. He also just prefers throwing between the hashes and bails or flat-out ignoring the outside receivers too often to me.

In some of these plays, there are 3 vs 3 on one side and 2 vs 3 on the other and his initial read is to the side with the 2 vs 3.

The final 4th downplay design was a joke, 2 receivers running the same route on top of each other and not much else for Dak to go to. Seems to be a pattern at times with Kellen Moore.

This is one reason I get so sick of folks railing on Moore.
Sure, he has his flaws...but come on.
Those schemes have those players wide open. Period

I am not railing against him for anything but the 4th down call, the concept of that play was a mess. You would think they have something a bit better to get 3 yards with the game on the line.

Moore is not as big of a problem as people desperately want him to be.

He just happens to be the easy person to blame for the lack of talent he has to work with at the most important position on a football team.

Absolutely.

The play design/call was awful.

But the quarterback should not be absolved for not converting. At times he’s the slowest processor.

What you saw was not how the play was designed. Receivers in stack were supposed to diverge at certain point.

That's why Noah Brown has disappeared. He was more open on Dak's 2nd interception than trying to squeeze the ball to CeeDee Lamb. Even CeeDee knows there's no way Dak should be throwing the ball to him. (He has to learn he doesn't have a real QB). Same as the Bears interception down the middle. Cowboys will not win anything because of Dak. It will have to be a perfect storm. Its hard to overcome the culture the owner and his son have created for the Cowboys which trickle down to the players. The owner is most concerned about attention/publicity and Glitz and Glamour! . That's why he made screamin a smith part of the draft video. The most disliked media person by Cowboys fans. Unbelievable.

Bottom line: Kurt Warner points out numerous instances where Dak simply does not read the field well....and on the 2 INT's, that many want to blame Lamb and Schultz, Warner correctly points out that Dak should have been able to read the play so as NOT to make those throws....but again, Dak stares down his 1st read and can't go through his reads or read the field.
