It has to be exhausting defending such a lousy QB.

Meanwhile, us that don't defend his poor play don't really have to do much because Dak does all the work for us.
"Such a lousy QB" that you yourself had ranked as 14th-best in the NFL entering this season?

When you're forced to define your terms, you come off as a total buffoon.

Every single time.

eventually you will see the light bro.

Since that Denver game, Dak’s passer rating is an 88

(If u take out that scrimmage against the Eagles in week 18)

Funny. Because when we were winning with Dak in 2016 he was being called a "bus driver that cant throw the ball for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns" . And all he was doing was winning games.
He was a substitute bus driver then. Ezekiel Elliot was really powering the bus with the best offensive line in football.
Since taking over we know he doesn't drive too good when the pressure is on and he has to actually produce.

Never have so many, tried for so long, to excuse one man’s mistakes……
So it's Dak's mistake still?

You disagree with Jimmy?

Or are you just SO butt-hurt that you were wrong, and that's why you're deflecting?

"DURRRR I'M GONNA WAIT TILL CEEDEE CONFIRMS IT BEFORE I DECIDE!"

(More commentary from Hall of Famers who all say the same thing - it was Lamb's fault)

"BOY YOU GUYS TRY SO HARD TO DEFEND DAK!!"

Why stop there? Just omit ALL of Dak's good games while you're at it!

Dak's 0-34 as a starter if you remove his 55 wins!

I already have seen the light. I am on record in other threads to do everything we can to bring in Drake Maye.

I just posted this because the people that pretend to know football on this board are now arguing with Jimmy Johnson lol. Its humorous for me.

I think Dak can play well, and we can win a superbowl with him IF the coaching staff stops putting it all on him. Problem is since that Denver game you mentioned something has been off. They need to be running 30 times a game. I dont care what the YPC is. Alas I choose to have hope that the guy we saw in the first 7 weeks of last season will reappear. Its wishful thinking for sure but I cant live my life always being negative. I am in sales. My career would tank lol

55-34 as a starter.

42-31 as a starter if you omit his rookie year. Despite having a mediocre defense for the majority of that time.

Cope.

Yes. We are on the same page with Maye. I would look to trade our 1st round pick in 23 to aquire another in 24 for starters.

Funny how the homers are solely gravitating towards the second INT and not even mentioning the first one which was Dak’s fault.

That one was even more of a backbreaker because we were in FG range

Or they could both be at fault, Lamb and Dak. But Lamb really wasn’t, because once again, the LB disguised coverage and disrupted timing.

And Lamb could have done a backflip at the end of the route, It still would been Dak’s fault, as Dak has OTHER OPTIONS besides Lamb.

The problem with nit-picking what guys like Jimmy and Shannon Sharpe are saying, is they have said things like Dak is a one-read QB that needs a lot of talent around him to succeed…

I dont know if you are ready to go that far (Ive been said the same), but it sounds hypocritical to say “see look what Jimmy said!”, but not even comment when he says dak is a one-read qb

I just want to clarify something...

Have you seen the WR running wide open down the sideline on this exact play? Dak was locked on to CeeDee and missed it.

CeeDee could've ran the wrong route and Dak could've made the wrong decision. Both of those things can be true.

I thought wins/losses were a team stat?

Well, since you want to go that route: Dak is 1-3 in the playoffs in 7 years...since 2020 Dak is 15-10 (a .600 win % which is 2-1/2 games above .500)....since 2017 Dak is 42-31 (. .575 win % which is 5-1/2 games above .500)

It was so obvious even fans could see Lamb ran wrong route. Dak is not a great QB, but he should have at least two less picks on his resume from the last two games.

No it was not obvious, as they just regurgitated and are regurgitating what was said on live television and now it’s accepted as fact.

It they watched Kurt Warners all-22, they’d say it was Dak’s fault.

Are you really going down that road? Because I and just about everyone else here would do cart wheels if Mahommes was our QB.
Yes....I have QB "friends" oops Favorites too

In the end, the WR is NOT responsible who the ball is thrown to. If Lamb supposedly made a mistake, Dak had other options to throw too.

Fact is, the mental midget at QB has been exposed since Denver on these exact types of plays, where defenses just show a man in the box and drop into coverage.

Playing in the worst division in the NFL Dak was able to pad his stats and wins. Even then he choked against the good teams.
It's like having him at the fair on the kiddie rides. He smiles and waves and takes good pictures.
But he's not able to ride the big kids rides. He crashes.

And considering our defense has been mostly mediocre during those timeframes (and AWFUL in the playoffs), you're describing a pretty good NFL starting QB.

Glad you learned something today!

(Psst... there's no "route" in which Dak isn't one of the better starting QBs in football... his career stats AND W/L record are good. NFL coaches, players, scouts and execs all ranked him as a top-10 QB entering this year. You have absolutely nothing, but we both know that you're used to having absolutely nothing.)

100 percent. He went for the big play. He could have checked down. Problem is that with timing based routes your read is predetermined. Aikman used to throw to Irvin not even knowing where he was when the ball left his hand knowing the playmaker would be there. He also had Harper open or Emmitt open in the flat. However. That was the read. I am not saying Dak made the right or wrong decision because I dont know what play was called. Thats all brother.
