Everybody is constantly saying how Zeke lost a step and he's not what he used to be.

But that rest really helped him he looked very sharp tonight.

He may not be exactly what he used to be but when healthy he is all that he can be

I believe from now on we should do what's necessary to keep him healthy and if that means rest him a game here or there that's what we should do so we can get good performance out of him when we use him rather than him having just a mediocre outing.

I don't understand the fascination with the Zeke and Pollard thing. Pollard is really good. Zeke is really good. They are both different players. It's like comparing Trevon Diggs to Donovan Wilson. Completely different players, both great for the team.

Definitely thought so too, he had a strong game today. Pollard didn't have the same impact as last week, but it's nice to have 2 runners that can carry the team at different times.

I agree. Him taking a few games off game him a chance to have a day like this. Shoulda sat last year and been smarter.

I think the shotgun was all that Zeke ran from in college. I think he did pretty well there.

I still say it is Moore holding him back.
The competition level is different from college to the pros.

In 2016 Dak played under center a lot. But as they begin playing more shotgun Zeke became less and less effective. Plus he's a thumper and thumpers need a lot of carries to get going. Well Tony Pollard has been taken away a lot of those carries. So like I've said before Pillard would be better without Zeke and Zeke will be better without Pollard.

So to me Zeke hasn't slowed down one bit. It's just other factors involved. But I still think we can get another thumper for dirt ball cheap in the draft. Just saying.

Why doesn’t Moore hold back pollard?

He calls different plays, but he did hold back Pollard some tonight, by some runs he usually gives to Zeke…up the middle when it is stacked.
Pollard had the same 2 yard runs that Zeke had at times. But you can’t break them all for big gains.

Zeke has gotten most of the Carrie’s here for years when it wasn’t justified. Pollard has been held back if anyone. Zeke has been coddled. If zeke doesn’t get as many outside runs it’s because hes just not the type that does well with them.

zeke also seldom bounces it outside as he knows he doesn’t have the speed to get there.

He hit the edge decent tonight.
You just don’t want to give him credit or say anything nice about him.

He had a very good game, and you don’t like it.

I'm pretty sure there has been a constant refrain over the past three years that he does..

Exactly

But jazzy is talking about type of runs, which is just an excuse. He has to blame someone for zekes falloff.

no I love it. Said already he played well. Why wouldn’t I like it? Unlike you I compliment good play when it happens.

he had some nice plays on the edge. Great to see. Once in a while we get a glimpse of the old zeke.

No you have you just blame Zeke for everything. To build up some false narrative.
