Early Games thread

So Lamb gets one foot down twice and other once and not a catch.....so stupid

Well, damn...
Jags are going for two to win outright.

JAGS up by 1 with 14 sec left......
That was Staubach-eaque......come back....

Yes…..jags yes…..wow, what a game….just don’t screw it up with 14 seconds left.

Doug Pederson is a true NFL legend and treasure. A true champion Jerruh could never dream of.

This year's Russell Wilson may be one of the worst QB's I've ever seen
It's crazy how fast he fell off, he had a good year last season
System qb?
Since his 2nd year in the league, Wilson has been sacked a minimum of 41 time eight straight seasons - including 51, 48, and 47 from 2018-20.
Wilson was sacked 33 times during the 2021 season - but he missed 3 games due to injury.
I believe that took an accumulative toll on him physically and mentally to where he is now a shell of himself from his first 4-5 years in the league.
Today v. Panthers___19 / 35, 142 yds, 1 TD, sacked 3 times for 17 yards.
His counterpart - Sam Darnold___11/ 19, 164 yds, 1 TD, not sacked at all.
Denver down 3 - 23 until 3 mimutes left on the game.

The meme\phrase "Let Russ Cook" should now be from here on out-until he leaves the game...
"Russ Is Cooked"

Still not over for the Ravens because they have Justin Tucker and probably only need to get to about mid field to try a FG.

He did a roundhouse kick, and another move I don't recall...possibly a roundhouse punch.

Anything that has to do with violence will get flagged. They banned the slash move to the throat years ago.

I didn't see much of a shin, the ref said "stands" not "confirmed"

Toe tap, lifted off the turf then back down with an ankle/shin. Either one counts. The rule states "any part of his body other than his hands." So if you saw an ankle but didn't see a shin, it's still a catch. Same if he only got one knee down.
