What? Weren't they up 27-10 or 27-17 when the pick happened? You are saying that after that pick that gave the defense the pass to screw up? Just wow.

Yes that turned the momentum and the next series when Dak went three and out, sailing passes and holding the ball for 5 secs taking sacks. HE SUCKED

playcalling was the issue, especially throwing it down deep and saving them a to
Play calling? Dak audibles all the time, but say it was a bad play call.. Did Moore tell Dak he had to throw it to the 3rd option? Fact is Dak played like average Dak and the defense played worse. None of it matters. A Trent Dilfer type QB will never win another Bowl. You need a QB playing at an Elite level to win the Bowl in todays NFL... Dak aint that.
10 INTs since his return.. Lets be nice and say 5 werent his fault... Even with 5 INTs since his return puts him tied for worst in the NFL in that span. But yeah.. Its the coaches fault.

Dak had a decent first half as many have pointed out, outside the terrific throw to Hendershot, the rest was OK. I was at the game and it's frustrating to watch WRs wide open running down the field and he just holds the ball or checks down. Not sure if he isn't seeing the field, doesn't trust his arm, bad mechanics, or whatever, but he missed several wide open guys (so much so, my 13 y/o son was pointing it out).

2nd half was more bad than good, yeah the Defense gave up way too many points - but had the QB played a NFL starter worthy second half we wouldn't be talking about this. Same thing as the first half, missing wide open WRs, and by missing - I mean not throwing their way. Franchise QBs pick up a first down in the last minute of the game after the Defense gets you the ball back to put away the game - it's really that simple. Stats mean squat.... they don't win games. And yes last week he drove 98 yards to beat the Texans. He's not all bad, he's not all good. He is somewhere in between... and that's why the Cowboys will always be somewhere in between the bottom and top of the league. Never reaching either.

I'm sitting here wondering where the defense got a stop after halftime too.
The literally forced a turnover with under 2 mins left in the game and Dak decided to throw a bomb on 3rd down to save the Jags a timeout.

Oh, and they also made the stop in OT just for Dak to throw a pick 6.

What votes? The MVP? Hurts should have that. Josh Allen and Pat are playing like crap. And Hurts played like crap today but his team has the best record. HE should have that locked up by default.

It wasn’t his best day, but I don’t agree that’s playing like crap. >60% passing, 365 total yards, 3 TD, 2 INTs. Could have done without the turnovers, but he was making huge plays all over the field

Held them? In what capacity? You mean the the fumble Lawrence gave them? Because 31 points is hardly "holding them".

I think he means exactly that. All the offense needed was a first down in regulation.
Defense absolutely should have stood up after that and held again, but alas, they aren't really what we thought they were, are they?

Not making excuses for Dak but wasn't that Kellen Moore's call? And Noah Brown has now caused I think three picks this season by deflecting balls off his hands, I think two by Dak and he did it to Cooper Rush early in the season too. Guy has to catch that pass with the game on the line.

We can dump on Dak all we want if it fits the agenda but let's not forget the defense gave up over 500 yards today and the offensive line was offensive. The coaches on this team cannot adjust to injuries and with Steele, Brown, Lewis, LVE, and others out it's rolling downhill fast.

Not sure why the mods moved this to another forum. Dak’s the QB of the Dallas Cowboys. Meanwhile the Dak sucks thread is still in the Fan Zone.

Hendershot TD was a beautiful play .

On the 3rd & 10 that gave Jax the ability to tie go to OT when you didn’t make them burn a TO . Why throw it to up to Brown on a bomb . You have two very functional TE’s you have Pollard on a swing pass … in the first half CeeDee was streaking down field would have been a TD yet Dak was locked in on the opposite side of the field …frustrating .
100% this! It's very frustrating.. Seems very capable and then just doesn't pull the trigger. The 3rd down throw to Brown was moronic - probably worse than the INT, he had guys in the middle of the field open... throw it, they may not get the 1st, but the clock is still running JAX has to use that last timeout.... different game. Dak defenders will never see it this way. He just isn't the answer for a Championship - saying that - not many QBs are. It's not Dak hate - it's reality.
