• Offense:
  • Good or bad in regulation didn't matter. They only needed a Field Goal to win in OT...
• Coaching:
  • Too aggressive. Just run then ball when you're backed up again the goalline and have the lead. The #1 way for the Jags to get back into the game is to turn the ball over in that situation. Might still have lost with Garrett as HC but it wouldn't be from throwing an INT at the worst possible time.
• Front Office:
  • They need Tyler Smith type physical monsters at DT. Cage match Tyler vs the Cowboys entire DLine. Tyler wins. DLine all hospitalized. Let's move Jason Peters to DT...

I'm going to do something I never thought I would and agree with Shannon Sharpe, the loss was 70% defense, 30% Dak. You might make it more like 15% Dak and 15% play calling.

The Jaguars are 4-2 their last 6 games. During that stretch, Lawrence leads the NFL in completion %, passer rating, and TD-INT ratio.

If they beat the Jets, Texans, and Titans (again) they will win their division. They're ascending while the Cowboys have been regressing.

I think HGH Lawrence could possibly be the best QB we will face again currently today, unless we make it to the SB and face Mahomes, Burrow, or Allen. That kid is on fire now. Very jealous they got Pederson as he’s a QB savant.

Forget blaming Dak. Dak is not a difference maker. I don't say that to single him out. Most quarterbacks aren't. If you have a dominant team, coaching, and system, you can win. Good Lord, look at the 49ers with a 7th round pick at QB. How well does anyone think Purdy would do on the Texans?

The Cowboys won 1 playoff game with Prescott as QB. The only time Dallas had the better team, and Dak didn't do anything to lose the game. Hell, I was a huge Romo fan, but he wasn't that big of a difference maker. Not when up against better teams. That's limited to only the best QBs.

100% agree. IMO it has been an issue for a couple of weeks now. The team has been playing with fire so to speak and finding a way to squeeze out wins. IMO you can only do that for so long before it catches up with you.

With regard to the above, the key mistake was the Coaching

I said they were a hot team before the game and got some rather negative feedback. They are a hot team playing with a lot of confidence right now. They made a lot of their own breaks to tie, then win that game in OT.

Having said that, Dallas made a boatload of mistakes in the last 1:30 of regulation and gave the game away. Just one play at any time during the Jags game tying drive and the Cowboys win. It was an awful performance by the entire team and coaches.

Well said X. This front office….after years and years of evidence still some how don’t seem to understand the importance of having monster DTs that can maul offensive lineman and stop the run. They’re obsessed with pass rushing “war daddys” who are nice to have but if you can’t stop the run, they’re neutered.

it was not all offense , D got 3 turnovers ? So with points from TO the 1st half was smooth.

Nonsense, this loss was 80% with the defense. Whatever the offense did or didnt do they scored 34 points, started quickly and gave the defense a 21-7 lead. No excuses after that.
