This team can’t shut up. Last year, they talked about Ariz being a “statement game” and they laid a turd.

Now Dak is yapping about the Eagles game being a statement game.

I wish— for once (since Parcells left)— this team would do their talking on the field. If they go out and lose to Minshew tomorrow night, they will have earned every bit of disrespect they get.

What do they earn by talking this game up? If they win— the story will be they beat a backup QB. If they lose, they are a joke. SMH… I fail to see the upside of trying to declare this game some kind of measuring stick now that Hurts has been ruled out.

It is sort of a silly thing to do…to call this a statement game. He’s not even facing a team that is playing their starting QB and the game very likely will have no bearing on the playoff seeding. It’s a nothing-burger game. All he did was put pressure on himself and his team. I don’t see the point of hyping it up
