Did this game prove Micah right?

Not saying our defense is world beaters here, but The Eagles offense went on the road and scored 27 points. At thats including giving the football away 4 times. And they did this with a non existent running game. Imagine the score if they don't turn the ball over 4 times? Or if the eagles defense played like it did in prior games? Not to mention both of the interceptions could be argued is on the WR more then the QB.

The QB needs to be in a system that takes advantage of his talents

now when the system gets figured out we'll see if hes a system qb or hes an all elite qb because the eagles rpo with hurts has about 20 open receivers EVERY game

Hurts has a lot of weapons and a good OL, so Micah isn't wrong...but I'm not gonna dog out Hurts eventhough I think he's limited.

Both of the interceptions were on the defensive backs making good plays.

Maybe it was our defense taking it away and causing those turnovers. And not so much the Eagles fault.
The two INT”s were great plays by the defense. The one fumble was a reach in and knocking the ball out. It wasn’t like the RB was saying, hey I think I will fumble.

Give the defense credit there, not excuses for the Eagles.

Obviously it’s one game, but the Eagles have arguably the best OL in football and an elite 1/2 punch at WR.

Minshew looked like a pro bowler against us. Jalen is having an awesome year and executing the system well, but perfect case and point QB play is dependent on what’s around you.

Imagine if Rush didn’t get picked 3 times the first game. But your point is correct. Our Defense is not the same as it was the first time we played either. We need to get some guys back , get as healthy as we possibly can with 2 to go. Our offense is nice and they’re gonna have to score ( obviously) to help the defense. Just like they held it down with Dak out. Bottom Line, we got a lot of work to do if we want to make a run.

Jalen Hurts was said to not be an NFL QB last season by many.

And for good reason. He certainly upped his game, but apparently so did Minshew. Minshew also had to knock off a year of rust, ans still played well. The only real edge I'd give Hurts is, he's a better runner.
